Belizean Arts is a great gallery for both the unique art collector and unique curious-searching tourist. With a focus on local Belizean artists with a couple of other marvelous work thrown in, you are sure to find a new addition to you souvenir collection or art collection, depending on what you are looking for. This store is truly a gem! There are many very nice paintings, wood pieces, ornaments, jewelry and t-shirts at this at store. All of the pieces are Belizean and there are many choices. The owner is very gracious and can ship your pieces, but I will say that if you purchase a painting on canvas, they can take it off the stretchers, roll it and then take it into a length of PVC pipe that travels very well in a suitcase if it will fit. Spend a little time in this air-conditioned gallery and look at the many paintings. Some are not inexpensive, yet still very reasonable compared to prices for original art in the USA or Europe. Paintings, jewelry, and small sculptures are available at all price points. Many paintings can be rolled for transport home.
