Terrible service for our table of 3. Took 15 min to take our order and it was not even busy. Then they were out of most of the wing sauces. Wings arrived cold, my friends wings had a hair and I was shorted on my order of 12. Waitress stated the kitchen claimed to have counted correctly. No they didnât. 2 waitresses counted the wings and they know the kitchen shorted me 2. Waitress wanted to take them off my bill cause she was scared to tell the kitchen they were incorrect. My friendâs wings were double dipped in two different sauces when they should have been Buffalo only. They then asked how we should handle paying for the double dipped since 4 wings were eaten. So your kitchen keeps making errors yet you want to stick the client with the bill for their mistakes ? Then there are the dirty bathrooms. Theyâve been neglected terriblyâŚnot clean and no paper towels. You donât even want to grab the faucet! Unreal! Save your money and aggravation. Place lacks structure and proper management.
Re: âwish you would have gave us a chance to correct the situation to your satisfactionâ is the most basic response. Itâs almost like you didnât read the honest critique. FYI I asked for a manager and was told none were there. You canât fix your issues if you let your staff run the place as they want. Again i stand by my statement that the place needs structure...
Read moreMy friend and I were here back in 2022 for dinner; I believe the restaurant had just opened. The food was fantastic and service was spot on. On subsequent visits to San Pedro I had not stopped in; travel buddies had other plans. This trip I made it a point to return for the Mudslide and yummy chicken fajitas, served with fresh tortilla triangles. The tortilla triangles were so good that I ordered some to go and didn't hesitate to pay the additional fee for them.
This time, the Mudslide was ok, more of a milkshake taste with a minimal shot of liquor, if any. The chicken fajitas were the biggest disappointment. The flavor was more Kung Pao chicken, most certainly not the grilled chicken of ALL fajitas I've ever had. The chicken and peppers were served in a dish swimming in a sauce that tasted like soy sauce. Definitely not what my palate was anticipating. Although satisfactory flavor I was not expecting Asian cuisine with a large, warm flour tortilla.
Yes, I could have sent it back, but what would have been done differently? If the chef had the potential to grill the chicken and veggies like typical fajitas, why not do it the first go round? What happened, The Black...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked into The Black Pearl Restaurant in San Pedro, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back island charm and elegant dining â with warm lighting, sea breeze, and a vibe that invites you to unwind and indulge.
Now letâs talk about the lobster â wow. Perfectly grilled, juicy, and seasoned to absolute perfection. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth celebration of flavour, freshness, and Caribbean culinary magic. Hands down one of the best lobster dishes Iâve ever had â and thatâs saying a lot!
What truly elevated the night, though, was the incredible service. A huge shoutout to Rayan, who made us feel instantly at home with his friendly, attentive style. Bartner Alex kept our drinks full and our laughs going, and Supervisor Garreth ensured everything ran smoothly with a personal touch that didnât go unnoticed. This team is truly a dream â professional, warm, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
⨠Whether you're a local or just visiting the island, The Black Pearl is an absolute must-visit. Iâll definitely be returning â and bringing friends...
