La Horca del Inca (Mirador del Inca) — Attraction in La Paz

La Horca del Inca" La primera pregunta que le hice a mi guia privado @franquito_t fue "¿Acá los Incas sacrificaban a sus enemigos? ''. Quizás fue la primera remiscencia del nombre que se me vino a la cabeza ante la repetida narrativa de la faceta hostil y dominante de este pueblo. Lo cierto, es que la Horca sí fue creada por los Incas, pero no con ese fin. En sus orígenes, durante el periodo incaico, era usado para observar las estrellas, contemplar los fenomenos del cielo y estudiarlo. Durante la conquista, los españoles utilizaron la horca para colgar a los Incas. Quizás, me gustaría llamarla el "observatorio Inca" como la llaman a la entrada del lugar en dónde flamea radiante la bandera de los pueblos originarios. Me gustaría rememorarlos en su momento de esplendor y no en la fase de su sometimiento, con un nombre que para a quienes ignoran la historia del lugar, como yo,  los puede llevar a asociarlo a narrativas repetidas. Lo cierto es que toda la magnitud de sus significados volverán a arder, mañana 21 de junio, en la fogata que realizarán en este espacio por el inicio del año nuevo andino que empieza, justo, cuando el sol se posiciona en el medio del entrecruzamiento de estas rocas, que para mi forman más que una horca...
