Tour Meu Mineirão — Attraction in Região Geográfica Imediata de Belo Horizonte

The Mineirão tour was an absolute highlight of my time in Belo Horizonte. The stadium itself is stunning and a true example of modern Brazilian architecture with its sweeping curves and open, airy design. The facilities are in great condition, and you really feel the history and importance of the place as you walk through the stands, the locker rooms, and down to the pitch.

Our guide was fine. He was friendly, funny, and full of great stories (all in Portuguese), although sometimes tired from his job. It added charm to the experience, though it might be nice to have an occasional English or Spanish tour available for international visitors.

One of the best experiences; especially for football fans, to do in Belo Horizonte. The tour is not very long (approx. 45mins), but its enjoyable. It takes you through the most important areas of the stadium and there is also a museum (depends on your ticket). Unfortunately, as a Greek visitor, I missed part of the experience because I could not understand the guide's Portuguese and could not get the English script on my phone because they did not have WiFi. I asked for the English script two days later and they sent it to me without any problems. The museum...

Fomos ao tour do Mineirão no dia 09 de junho. Experiência incrível. Pedro foi nosso guia, e temos somente elogios a ele, sempre muito solicito com todos, tirou todas as dúvidas e fez o nosso tour ainda mais animado. O tour foi ótimo, conhecemos todo os bastidores do Mineirão, desde vestiários, até sala de imprensa. O guia nos deu tempo suficiente para aproveitar e para tirar fotos. A subida para o campo foi emocionante, desde subir as escadas onde passam gigantes do nosso futebol até a chegada no campo. O tour é sensacional e vale muito a pena o investimento. Temos somente uma crítica a fazer, que é em relação ao museu do futebol do Mineirão. O museu é lindo e tem muita história legal, mas infelizmente parece que foi “deixado de lado”, sem manutenções, pois é perceptível alguns problemas, como tablado em algumas partes está solto, podendo causar até mesmo acidente com quem está fazendo o tour, sem contar que algumas obras estão com “furos” ou “rasgos”. De fato, o museu precisa de um olhar especial, não se pode deixar, um local onde tem calçada da fama com o registro de Pelé e tantos outros gigantes do nosso futebol, abandonado como parece estar. E importante também que os próprios turistas respeitem o local e não depreendem o mesmo. Mas ressalto, o passeio vale muito a pena! E quem for, não deixem de subir na esplanada pra aproveitar e...
