Museu da Fotografia — Attraction in Região Geográfica Imediata de Fortaleza

I visited your museum in October 2017, together with a Fortaleza resident who had not been there. I am an avid collector of photographic items and have visited many other museums displaying photographs. This Museum is the finest of its kind I have ever visited. It has some highly valued and world renown photographs like a signed copy of the USA flag raising on Iwo Jima by Joe Rosenthal, and one of the few signed prints by Steve McCurry of the National Geographic Afghan girl featured on one of its 1985 covers. The museum is architectural beautiful laden with exhibits over three floors. The English speaking docent, Julia, made the visit especially enjoyable because of her knowledge of the exhibited photographs and joy of photography in her personal life. My Fortaleza host, on his first visit, was equally impressed with this Museum and plans to return often with friends and out of town guests. I wish Julia and the staff at the Museum of Photography continued success with a remarkable display of photographs....

As estruturas físicas são ótimas. São 3 andares de exposições fotográficas com elevador e acessibilidade. Também há um último andar que é um terraço. Talvez, acho que somente essa parte do terraço é que achei um pouco mal aproveitada pois não há praticamente nada lá, apenas o terraço e banheiros (que, como um ponto positivo, vale parabenizar, estavam muito limpos e higienizados). Se o prédio fosse bem alto e tivesse uma vista privilegiada talvez ficasse mais interessante o terraço. O que não é o caso, infelizmente. Por isso essa pequena crítica ao terraço. Deveriam tentar preenchê-lo colocando alguma atração lá, um " algo a mais" naquele espaço. Tirando isso, o local é maravilhoso, muito lindo e agradável. Logo no lado esquerdo após a entrada está uma pequena biblioteca. Infelizmente, não tive a oportunidade de ficar um tempinho lá, mas foi algo que achei muito interessante e bem atraente. Da próxima vez tentarei conhecer melhor os livros de lá e sentar numa daquelas lindas poltronas requintadas e aparentemente bem...
