It's like walking in to the catacombs in Egypt that hasn't been opened for 2K years. It's no oxygen in the air, and it's been like this forever. Most employees in the stores brings this up as well, little do they know, they are actually the lucky once in this building. Office building above, they are suffering the most from this, packed as sardines they are up there.
There is a strange policy about not allowing customers to use elevators and escalators have a stroller forbid. But this are a majority of the customer walking around here, might be time to adapt to the customers. There is one elevator that you're allowed to use, ONE! Rest requires a card or key. If you manage to get in an elevator that works by misstake, you will hear the red dressed building workers speaking behind your back, "this person should get a 50bgn penalty for using this elevator".
Many stores has closed down, feels a bit empty.
Parking is free for 4h. Which force all the employees in building to repark their cars 2-3 times per day, as they don't have a parking spot. And this building is supposed to be environmental friendly, this gives a nasty effect on the smog over Sofia. Nothing pollutes more then a newly started car, new or old.
Serdika Center is working on a solution for this smog problem, their latest solution is, maximum 4h parking per day, period. But if you work there 8h per day?
Handicap friendly, no not really. Stroller friendly, not at all. Customer friendly, a bit. Friendly to the employee in the building, not much.
This building has a record of many bomb threats, if it happens, you're supposed to leave your car in parking area until Police is done investigating (~24h) and vacate building as fast as you...
Read moreDecent shopping mall with ample stores and great shopping experience. Food options at the top floor was plentiful with a good range of healthy options as well as fast food restaurants.
Toilet was clean and nice with beautiful greens.
Available huge supermarket billa at the basement was nice, as well as a very good money exchange shop just opposite it.
Even on weekends the mall is rather quiet and peaceful so that is nice. Brands such as zara and h&m are there.
Excellent lounge spaces for people to rest, available paid massages chairs are all over the place, nice sofas with nice cushions availavle for families, also presence of large number of lockers which you can put your belongings. Excellent mall indeed! Even a children's play area so it's definitely family friendly!
Overall a good shopping mall in sofia, comparatively. Its conveniently located with parking and you can easily get a taxi at the taxi stand right in front of the main entrance of the...
Read moreI overall like how this mall is designed, it has many useful stores, a couple of libraries, most (if not all) major banks, a few glasses stores and a couple of restaurants, in addition to a food court. Another big plus is the location: it's in a relatively safe area and it's very well connected to a few major lines of public transport. As a downside, the toilets are poorly ventilated and rarely cleaned, I avoid them and the surrounding area if I can. There is no cinema in this mall, but this never bothered me; this mall is likely built for/by the green office building in its middle (that one is not well designed at all, the smoking space is practically a "space platform" and it is a nightmare to access the office building before the mall opens). There used to be TV screens in the food court mostly playing music videos, but they have been turned off or...
