Slavyani — Restaurant in Sofia City

Whilst the menu can be lacking at times where one would seek more variety, this is a good thing - each dish is crafted and prepared with the utmost care and precision in order to improve your dinning experience. From the huge schnitzel that I am personally so fond of, to the julienne that always looks amazing, a few of these dishes have become regular additions to my diet, and great sources of joy.

The staff is nice and attentive, even teaching me a few Bulgarian words at times. The service is sometimes a little slow, especially when the order is very varied or when the restaurant is busiest, which is very common.

While priced in-line with the area, the portions are very generous and I feel like the price is fair for the amount of food we get. My wife rarely finishes her dish!

This used to be one of our favourite laid back places to get some beer, chicken livers and chips. The whole concept and menu has changed, and now its focused on some mediterranian cuisine, which, as you may notice, is in fotal conflict with its name and its interior design too. Ресторантът има приятна обстановка и е разположен на удобно място. Храната е вкусна и добре приготвена, а цените са напълно разумни – средно около 20–30 лв. на човек, което е приемливо за предлаганото качество.

Сериозна забележка: Външните маси и столове са крайно неудобни. Масите са твърде високи, а столовете – прекалено ниски, което прави храненето навън почти невъзможно. За по-високи хора чинията се пада под нивото на гърдите, а за по-ниски – до раменете. Това създава дискомфорт и разваля цялото преживяване.
