I grew up here and spent 80% of my time in the trails. The trails along the creek are absolutely endless with a few excellent swimming holes along the way. The water is usually calm, shallow and completely safe for children & dogs in the summer months. It might not look it, but one could catch a decent size rainbow trout on a good day. All trials lead to the park which has all the amenities a family could be looking for. Washrooms, playgrounds & water. You will notice the large hill that fills up the background which was once the former ski hill. If you’re up to the challenge & want a workout, there are clear visible trails that lead to the top that will lead you to a great view of the town and the valley. These are also excellent trails for mountain bikes or for dirt bikes, however they’re NOT for novice riders. Go prepared with water for it is a workout to get to the top.

Lovely spot for a stroll and for the kids to play and cool off in the water park. Lots of "dry" activities too! The park hosts (in normal times) events that use the beautiful grounds in front of a wood bandshell. Several bridges cross a creek that features a small waterfall and rapids at one end. Unfortunately we were unable to view this area due to high waters. Check beforehand as it appears flooding may take place regularly. The grounds are well maintained and a charming feature of this community.

When i was 17 this place had a awesome trail. Now they build a new one cause the old one was washed out in a few places . They moved the bridges as well used to go up to the waterfalls now u can not. Was not very happy , the new trail is way to far from the creak you can't see it after the bridges. Very disappointing so i took the old trail very carefully. A few scratches but survived the hike. Was worth it.

My first visit to this area led us to Centennial Park, and it turned out to be a great choice. I brought my son and a family friend along, and the kids had a blast spinning around on the park rides and rolling down the hill. The highlight was definitely the beautiful waterfall, though we couldn't help but notice a random shopping cart in it, which was a bit unusual. Despite that, it was a fun day, and we enjoyed our time...
