The Gem of the West museum is a must see for anyone with roots to Coaldale. So amazing to walk through the church my grandfather & his family helped to build. Quite an impressive museum in this small town that is well worth the stop. Only $5 admission fee and you could easily spend an hour here. Lots of vintage items and antiques to look at, all nicely arranged by category. Friendly staff were on hand to explain the museum, and answer questions. I was the only one here when I visited on a Friday morning....
