Upon eating at home, the food was not up to their usual standards. Watery bland chowmein, bland rice, dried out breaded chicken, bland over cooked chopsuey. Phoned in for their information. Said Iād take it back to them and they said ok for refund. Took food in and immediately they took the box to the back. Server was back and forth to the kitchen about the issues and eventually said they would give 50% off. I said that wasnāt good enough. I want to talk to the manager. Oh, she says. He doesnt speak good English. She went back to the kitchen. The other server was on a calculator at that moment. Assuming she was taking off the difference for the ribs we did keep. Inserted card for refund and left. Before I knew it she was running behind my van taking my plate number and vehicle. Asked whatās up? She says,āYouāre a thief, you didnāt pay for the ribsā told her I thought she had already dealt with that. Went in to pay and one of the guys from the kitchen was out in the lobby saying I was only to get 1/2 off. I said I didnāt even eat have. He sayā are you sure?ā!as he looks at me and slaps his belly. I was there today, August 31, 2021, and I wouldāve normally ordered a combination plate with my five favourite dishes but they did not offer all five together so I chose the Buffet mainly for the pineapple chicken and deep fried shrimp. I recād a dish to fill and it cost over $20 with tax. When I got home, I bit into the shrimp and it was all batter! I found a tiny piece of shrimp in a huge wad of batter, and this was the same for the pineapple chicken.. I called to complain and asked to speak to the owner but he can barely speak English⦠He acted like he didnāt know what I was talking about, although heās been in service for more than 20 years I would expect him to speak a little more English but however his poor manager got the brunt end of my complaint. Needless to say, Mings is definitely not what it used to be⦠And I will never be back. I get that businesses are struggling but so are people, when we pay full price of $20 for a plate of Chinese food I expect the shrimp to at least be a whole shrimp not tiny bits and pieces that are covered with a fist full of batter, very disappointed⦠hope your experience is...

The buffet was almost empty... literally had food stuck onto the bottom of the pans on several dishes. The witness told the party after us they had 20 minutes because they were closing at 6pm. I expressed my disappointment to who might have been the owner??? she said the would cook a bit more. 30 minutes later no fresh food arrived not even a refill on water so I went to pay. Told the waitress had she told us the were closing we would have went elsewhere. We were still charged FULL price for 2 buffets!!!! I said we got scraped up food from the bottom of the pans and we have to pay full price ..like not even a seniors discount for my mom? Waitress said ya well sorry there's no seniors rate and tou can wait the cook said we are open till 7 now!!!! Good grief 1 hour and 41.95 later we both left hungry š” NEVER ever again will we be back there ! I would have given zero stars had that...
