Great easy path to a refreshing small waterfall with shallow water that you can sit in if you want to brave the chill. Would be awesome on a hot day. Hike was easy (my hiking skills are Couch Potato Level), some steps near the end and can be a bit slippery with the crushed shale and dirt but easy enough for my older French Bulldog. Lots of native plants and trees, even a babbling brook, with many benches along the way to relax. Just off the highway. Took us about 25 minutes to the falls with sniff stops along the way for the dog. Flush toilets at the parking area and the world's largest piggy bank as well. Not great for strollers, lots of roots to step over. Definitely a walking or papoosing hike for families. Nice to find a hidden gem so close to the highway and almost next to amenities. There are other paths leading...

This was a great little hike. It's nearly the end of April and many of the mountain hikes still have a lot of snow. We were happy to find that this one is clear of ice and snow ,except for in the lovely gurgling stream. There are benches and picnic tables along the way, so that someone who has some mobility issues can still enjoy the trail at their own pace, but definitely not wheelchair friendly. There are many pictures of a tall stairway. It is not necessary to climb them to get to the waterfall. The stairs are closed now anyways because the bridge to the stairs is closed and needing repairs. I hope you can get out and enjoy this lovely...

Beautiful, quick hike along a path used by miners on their way to work. The path ends at a senic waterfall, but does not go all the way to the mine enterance. The walking path is very easy and can be done in about 45 minutes, and Flumerfeld park has seasonal toilets making it an ideal place to get out and stretch your legs during a long road trip thru the mountains. If you are interested in the history of this unique and beautiful spot I recomend going to the Crowsnest Museum, located just south of the path, and the incredable Bellevue Underground Mine Tours, located off main street Bellevue on the eastern...

Gorgeous little walk. Never feels like the town is so close. Very easy and extremely beginner friendly for those who want to immerse in nature without it becoming too strenuous. There is also a good deal of metal benches halfway up the trail should you need to rest. I went at 8AM Sunday and there was some traffic already. That foot bridge is a bit shaky but seems sturdy enough. Recommend of you need a little nature walk, or if you need to stretch your legs as your passing through the town.

*Family of 5 review* It took us 50 minutes to get up to the waterfall. It is a fairly short walk but with kids expect to stop many times. You can see history all around the trail. My kids loved it! The waterfall is small but beautiful. Expect it to be hard getting around the rocks around the waterfall. Not wheelchair/stroller friendly at all. In the parking lot there is a volleyball court as well as a spray park. You can take pictures with the biggest piggy bank in the world.
