So much to see and experience. The staff here are very helpful and the murder mystery combined in the experience is so bone chilling and romantic and sad and so many other things. All of the exhibits are explained very thoroughly with signage and pamphlets. My tour was self guided but id come back for the guided tour for sure. Afterwards I walked the miners path and took the long way back through the trees and down some old trails. Seeing the creek and falls along the beautiful trail makes the walk well worth it....

There were approximately 6 to 8 galleries spread over two floors including a local wildlife display which was very well done. The staff member in the gift shop was very friendly and helpful. The coal mining section held the most interesting amount of information which was supplemented by a hefty amount of photographs and artifacts. Ella did a great job setting up our look through the barracks. The barracks itself had a very interesting story that had us intrigued throughout the entirety of our time viewing it.
