I had a the pleasure of going through the entire house with a member of the town in regards to seeing what can be done to help the place. Although much is gone, there is some original charms. This house was built in 1818 and is suffering terribly. Not sure why more money hasn't gone into fixing it at this point as it's getting too late. There's an odd dark room in the rear of the house where our flashlight went out when passing. On our way back through the house, the flashlight went out in the exact same place again, so not sure what that is about! Was pretty creepy!
