Definitely not the best place to celebrate a child’s birthday. All guests are asked to take off their shoes.
There is a rubber coating on the floor. The floors are very cold in winter. The entrance area intersects with the entrance to the rest rooms. Children from the play area should walk barefoot in the snow and wet floor into the room. There’s not even a carpet. Communication with staff resembles communication with a call center robot or a simple version of a chatbot.
Dear owners, here are simple solutions to improve your service (if you are interested in it at all):
You have 2 entrances. Close one and you will have a dry zone for guests and children to enter the rest room and toilet rooms.
Lay carpets in all rooms. It will add coziness and will definitely be comfortable for children to stay. The cost of carpets for 2 rooms is about $300. This is the amount for 2 hours of renting one room. Don’t be greedy.
Try to turn on the heating not when the guests arrive, but in advance. It’s so simple. You ask for 50% payment in advance, can it include the attention of your staff...
Read moreAbsolutely unhelpful behavior by person at reception! I would avoid this place since they are not following basic courtesy! Edit - Since the owner is trying to defend a bad behavior and shift the blame saying incomplete detail. I can’t reply to the comment so the edit here. I explained the situation that I had to pick up my family member after an hour and won’t take more than 10 min. Staff declined citing rule and I agreed if it is the rule then please allow me to take her with me and come back in 10 min so she can continue her play till her pass allows to play. If you step out you have to buy pass again for the second time for the pass which is already paid and instead of offering a solution to a situation and behaving badly is no excuse that I am explaining the rule. You would like to propose solutions and be polite is basic. Hiding behind policy and explaining rules in unhelpful harsh way is no excuse. We live in a community and being helpful and polite is baseline...
Read moreClean, quiet, kids had lots of fun. Staff at the front desk wasn’t very friendly nor did they pay any attention to what was happening in the building. Older kids were frequently in the little kid/ baby area, standing on foam and throwing balls up towards the ceiling. The front desk staff didn’t even bother to look up once. There was a lot of random clothing hung around (assuming from after school program or lost and found) however this should be cleared out at the end of everyday so it’s not just hanging around. Same with water bottles - everywhere - there was only three families there today there is no way all that stuff belonged to them. There was also no music playing so the vibe was … stale for a Saturday afternoon with rain is was surprising that it was so quiet however not shocking...
