Chances Salmon Arm — Attraction in British Columbia

The food was cold. There was 4 of us and meals arrived at different times spread out over 30 minutes. Mine was so cold I sent it back. When it returned food portions had been reduced the meat had been mirco waved the veggies were changed and so soggy they were uneatable. The Yorkshire pudding however was good with the gravy. Before I had finished eating the bill had been placed on the table and I was being asked if I needed a machine to pay for the meals. I had not even finished my meal yet. I told the server that I was not ready to pay as we wanted to relax and talk. 3 minutes later another server came over and asked to be paid. I was insulted by this and stated that I did not appreciated being forced to leave the area even before I had completed eating. I asked for a manager and the first server came over identifinhing herself as the supervisor. I just paid and left feeling like I was not wanted there because I was dressed wrong or was not the type of customer they wanted and maybe smelled wrong. I really don't know why but I do not recommend anyone to eat at this locations restaurant. Hopefully after talking to the casino manager someone will give me a response to my concerns and...

My husband and I were out for groceries when we decided to pop in for a quick game of bingo. (Infrequent players). We chatted with a lovely girl at the front whilst ordering packages. We said goodbye, Goodluck etc. (Forgetting to pay $30). An hour into the games, we were approached by the manager AND security. At first I thought they were going to tell us someone broke into my brand new dodge sport. They informed us that we forgot to pay. We laughingly apologized in surprise and explained that we were chatting with the girl too much and probably distracted her. They said it's fine but we have to pay NOW and they (in front of everyone) needed both of our ID's for RECORD. This is over $30.00!!! My husband is a welder and we run our own business. I don't think we are hurting for cash that we need to try and rip off bingo lol. Their approach was completely unnecessary and ridiculous. We will never return to this casino. There are way better casinos! I will say that the other staff was very sweet. I DO NOT recommend making any mistakes here or they will damn near cuff...

well... they've been open for a week now so we thought it was time to make a trip to Salmon Arm and check out the dining room. We had high expectations as Salmon Arm really needs more dining options. We were greeted by a server within minutes of sitting down and was presented with water. Then it fell apart. Ten minutes later she took our order and we never saw her again. Approx 50 minutes later we asked about our food and she said she would go check. She disappeared for a few minutes and came back but not to report back to us... but to assist another table. We politely told another server we were leaving. We witnessed two other tables walk out during this time as well. Chances of Salmon Arm. We took a chance and wasted a 1.5 hour drive. Thanks...
