Awful from the start.
I went there with my boyfriend’s family for his aunts birthday. As soon as I got in it I was ready to give the host my ID (as I already get ID wherever I go) right after I gave it to him, he proceeded to AGGRESSIVELY ask me about my information. Asking what my date of birth, how old I was, and my full name. I answered without any hesitation but right after he was done grilling me he looked at my boyfriend’s aunts ID without any questions or her boyfriend.
I just thought that I just looked younger than I was. While we started to play one of the slots I noticed a group of security guards staring at me, so I had a feeling that I was gonna get ID again, but no a security guard comes up to me and says he wants to speak to me. I go and asks me if I was alone? I tell him no I was with a group of people and my boyfriend’s aunt is with me as he’s talking to me. Then he proceeds to tells me that there are people complaining about how I was dressed is making them uncomfortable (I was wearing a skirt and a tank top nothing showing) so I tell him that I’m not doing anything wrong, and if they were gonna kick me out because of this, then the guard was like I’m not telling you guys to leave just that people told us the way you are dress is making people uncomfortable, and after that he was saying “maybe the next time you go to a casino think about how other people are gonna think about how your dressed.”
There was no reason for them to pull me aside, and tell me this is what OTHER customers were saying. When I’m also a customer? How is that fair for me?
I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I was harassed and don’t know if it was because of my race the way or because of who you were with, but regardless the way security acted was very much out of place. As I was with my boyfriend's family which was white and me being the only asian girl that was with them. Never ever would I recommend anyone to come to...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying out the brunch specials, as well as their daily specials, at The Buffett, located inside Ace Casino Airport. The entire experience was a blend of surprises, both delightful and a tad disappointing, making it an outing to remember.
The first thing that struck me as remarkable was the affordability and the wide array of choices offered on their menu. For the quality and quantity of food they serve, the prices were quite reasonable. An added bonus was the complimentary coffee and soft drinks that came along with the meal, making the brunch even more of a good value deal.
However, the setting of the restaurant also came with its set of caveats. Being situated within a casino, it was a bustling space with a slightly noisy atmosphere due to the electronic betting machines. This background noise might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, but it's worth noting for those seeking a quiet brunch.
Moreover, the establishment does not permit minors due to its location within a casino. This makes the The Buffett less than ideal for family outings with younger members.
In summary, if you're an adult with a penchant for varied, ample, and value-for-money meals, The Buffett offers a delightful experience. However, it might not be the best choice for a peaceful, family-friendly meal due to its casino setting and the noise from the gaming machines. By the way, The Buffet does not serve buffet-style meals but their plate servings are more...
Read moreNOT VERY HAPPY, HERE IS MY STORY. first off all my wife and i checked it out on line they advertise a buffet, so we went there found the restaunt which also advertised buffet, went in and there is no buffet, NICE. we proceeded to order off the menu, my wife ordered a philly cheese steak and salad, i ordered a hot dog and fries, we waited till the order was ready, they gave me my wifes meal and a side of fries, i asked where my hot dog was, they proceed to tell me i never ordered a hot dog which i clearly did and was asking the cashier about whats on it and she told me. so instead of saying sorry sir we will have your hot dog ready soon we made a mistake, no they blamed us stating we never ordered it. in any case they put the order in, 40 minutes later still no hot dog, i made a complaint to the manager, she was very good about it went to check the hot dog was cold at the back sitting there for 30 minutes, UNREAL, so for the 3rd time now we reordered the hot dog, finally after 15 minutes of the 3rd order i got my hot dog. Also my wifes sandwich was the smallest philly cheese steak sandwich i have seen. IN ADDITION there is one bar in the place no servers seen on the casino floor had to go to the bar to order a drink and had to stand in line with 20 people in front of me cause again one bar, so about 20 minutes just to get a beer. How long would it be if it was super busy, a couple of hours? I WILL NOT BE RETURNING, STOP ADVERTIZING A BUFFET WHEN THERE...
