Laser City Laser Tag — Local services in Calgary

We recently hosted a party at Laser City and had an incredible experience, thanks to Mel and the amazing team!

From the time of booking, Mel was enthusiastic, professional, and went out of her way to answer all our questions. She even took the time to personally show us around the facility, making sure we were comfortable and well-informed before the event. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows!

On the day of our event (April 26th, 2025), Mel made everything effortless. She and her colleagues were always nearby, ready to assist with anything we needed, making the entire experience completely worry-free.

A few things that stood out:

Friendly and passionate staff who truly enjoy what they do.

Flexibility to bring your own food, which is a huge plus for guests with dietary needs.

Cooperative and accommodating when it came to minor schedule adjustments.

Constant and proactive support throughout the event to ensure everything ran smoothly.

To the owners of Laser City: you have an absolute gem in Mel — she is a true asset to your brand and the reason why customers like us will keep coming back!

Went for my daughter's birthday..poorly organsied place.

No communication except for a charge on the credit card. Again that was an automated message.

They won't return your calls until it a takes a few follow ups.

The website does not give much information and hard to get your point across staff who are incompetent.

On the day when you arrive, the only thing u notice is the name of your child on a small 15" x 8" placards!!!!no set ups, nothing...WTF

As a parent you want to be organised so that everything goes smoothly for your little one..that concept is not there for the organisers. Parents take more pride in a children's birthday party than their own..they are not doing that.

I had to go and ask for stuff, which was already paid for to be placed there.

Also the management has not done cost comparisons for products they are offering to clients..

it's just not laser tags!!!it's the experience you are selling

Giving away free laser tag games does not solve the problem.

Till date I have still not received an call from management about the screw ups n I do that care, as we won't be going there and nit suggesting anyone else.

This is one of the newest laser tag places in the city (August 2017) not only offering laser tag, but mini paintball as well. Personally, I used a Groupon for the laser tag, as the paint ball must be booked with a group of people. (Not drop-in like laser tag is) The facility is relatively clean, and quite large inside, with some arcade games such as air hockey, and guitar hero to keep you entertained while you wait for your round of paint ball or laser tag. For the paintball arena; it is quite large inside and can fit 20 people. The only reason this review isn't five stars is because of the hours. For the summer at least, the place opens at 1:00pm, which is rather late in my opinion, and they could be losing business. Another reason a star is missing is because the place isn't all the busy, and rounds are short of people to tag. Another thing I found odd was that when I was in the arena, and away from people in a corner, I was still getting tagged. I am not sure why this was happening, maybe I'm just really bad at laser tag... Overall, I would recommend this place to someone, especially if they wanted to book a birthday party or...
