Great neighborhood library. The librarians are always helpful and polite. It is a small library but still has a good selection of books. If they don't have what you want you can put a hold on any books in the Calgary Library system and have it delivered to the Bowness Library. Holds usually take 2 to 3 days unless the book you want is checked out.
It also has internet connected desktop computers, and Chromebook laptops which adults with picture IDs can borrow for use inside the library. Additionally they have a photocopy which you can use for free with a library card up to $5 worth of copies per month. They have a nice area upstairs for reading, playing board games, playing chess on a giant set or using the Chromebooks.
