We ordered from Chicken Omnibus on Skip. The chicken meals were a perfect portion, definitely full after finishing it (stuffed, even). The bite sizes were perfect and boneless. We ordered the sweet chicken and the soy garlic chicken. The sweet chicken was glazed all over with...honey? Very sweet. If you're wanting a filling meal but also wanting to satisfy a sweet craving then this might be the option for you. Besides the sheer sweetness along with the chicken, it didn't have any other notable flavour. It tastes literally like what it's called. Sweet chicken. The soy garlic is tasty. It's not the best soy garlic chicken I've ever tasted but it passes. It has very strong pepper notes, and very weak garlic flavour. The soy sauce is evident. There's also a gentle hint of sweetness that I like about soy garlic. I just wish the garlic flavour was stronger! Overall would order again, and curious to try one of the spicy options in the future as it seems like the spicy chicken is more what they're known for.

I requested change in loonies and toonies for bus money but was handed a $5, and when I politely asked again for my change to be in loonies and toonies, I was told no. Not only that, my 3 piece chicken thigh meal gave me food poisoning 6 hours later. And I only took a few bites out of 1 piece. I must have known something was off, or I normally would have eaten it all. Won't be back. Update: I have visual proof of my vomit 6 hours after eating this chicken. This review was left because I received food poisoning. I can post the video proof publicly or email it to you directly if you so choose. Also, I was not told there was no change. Or if I was, it was much too quiet to hear. Otherwise, I would not have asked for change again second time... I don't leave bad reviews because of a bad mood.

My partner and I rode our bikes from downtown to check out Chicken Omnibus. It was 100% worth the trip. Btw, there are bike racks outside on the street to securely lock your bikes. Our server was very friendly and lovely. We ordered an order of the 6 piece half crispy chicken with the spicy sauce and an order of the Omni-burger with sweet sauce (and made it a combo). The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauces tasted delicious. The chicken sandwich had a generous-sized portion of chicken with slaw. It is probably the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in Calgary. The french fries from the combo were perfectly crispy and not greasy. I've been to many Korean fried chicken joints throughout the city and this just might take the top spot. I can't wait to come back!

I tried Chicken Omnibus for the first time recently and was not disappointed! The portions don't look huge, but they certainly fill you up! Being someone who does not like spicy hot food, the sweet chicken was perfect. Their prices aren't too bad, and they have a combo deal that makes it worth it all the more! The seasoning they use on their fries is not standard [insert fry seasoning here], it's a mildly sweet/bitter almost powered cheesy kind of coating and it's delicious! The chicken (with the sauce on it) is perfectly cooked, no gristle, no weird textures, and each ball is similar in size, but not perfect like it was made in a machine. The atmosphere is calming as they have green plants spaced out everywhere, but not so many that you feel lost in a forest. It's quite tastefully decorated (for the most part) and the colours work. The staff are friendly and answer questions you may have, especially about pronouncing some of the dishes. The food tastes like a local small business type of food and is worth a sit down dining experience. I haven't tried the delivery, but people were coming in for takeout. Absolutely would eat here again! I want to try other dishes and see what they have to offer! The parking is free angled street parking in Bowness so, depending on time, it can vary from a tonne of spots available to none at all. If you can walk to the restaurant, I'd recommend it, especially since I felt like I had to roll myself home from being so full. It was a good thing to walk home as I walked off the "over ate food coma" feel (the food itself didn't feel heavy, greasy, or cause bloating after...

Went with a group of foodies so we can all order a bunch of things to try. Ordered the chicken, of course, along with ramen, tteobokki, fries, onion rings, bibimbap and teriyaki chicken/rice. We liked dark meat, so only got thighs and drums. Ordered all 4 sauces on the side as well. The chicken was very good, fries were crunchy and well seasoned, and all the sauces was great. Thats where I'd leave it for raving. All the other dishes were mediocre at best. I felt I could get better buldak ramen, bibimbap is better even at the mall, and the tteobokki probably should just......maybe not be on the menu? You order at the front and they keep a jug of water for self serve. Service was fine, definitely don't expect highly attentive service from a place like this with one girl at the front manning the til. I would definitely go back just for the chicken and would recommend that to...
