The Douglas Fir Trail is a wonderful hidden gem in the Calgary interior. Situated just South of the Bow River it’s a trail that makes you think you’ve escaped urban life. The trail itself can be fairly short, or it can be longer depending on your preference as there’s cut out points periodically along the way. The Lookout Platform is a particularly beautiful spot.
