Hidden Beach - Clothing Optional Area — Attraction in Calgary

I'm not sure they should call this spot a "beach". The water is so shallow, it's more like a creek. The rocks are terribly uncomfortable to sunbathe on. It is also a very tiny spot. The mosquitos and bugs will eat you up alive! That being said though, this place is well hidden and peaceful. There's not a lot of people there so it's fairly quiet. It is nice to see that the City of Calgary has options for nude sunbathers. This beach seems about the size of a postage stamp and so is cramped and difficult to get very comfortable. Some people think this it is an off-leash area. Well it isn't - Leave your dogs at home. There really ought to be more viable, appealing venues made available in a city of this size. Build it and...

This is no way a beach. More like a creek with a bunch of rocks, gravel, and a hike to even get to it. There was a creep there staring at us the entire time we were there, randomly tugging himself then disappearing into the bushes and returning to creep on people. Definitely not worth it, won’t be back.
