On a hot summer day, this is a great place to bring your children and a picnic to relax and have fun. Clean washrooms, outdoor showers, grassy areas and beautiful landscaping make it a pleasure.
The area is fully fenced with three exits (one past the washrooms and two into the playing fields) so it's easy to keep an eye on your little ones and they don't escape. The grassy areas around the park can be tight on a busy, warm weekend but I've been on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and we had 5 feet of space between us and the neighbors. There are a number of young trees, and a permanent red umbrella for shade.
Three picnic tables have extended table tops for wheelchairs or strollers. The facility is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible.
The washrooms are quite clean, with separate men's and women's. No water fountain unfortunately.

Site lines are great because it's a smaller splash park and jot overly busy. My one complaint was the city sprinklers that were going outside the park also sprayed inside the fence, making most of the shaded areas unusable. Side note: I found it mildly funny that there were signs up along the roadside reminding residents not to water their lawns in the heat of the day and yet the city was doing just that to its green spaces around the...
