CB Drive Inn — Restaurant in Calgary

This place has been around for over 50 years it's changed hands a few times since I was a child growing up in the area and the quality isn't quite as what it was when I was there as a kid and a teenager.. What's the difference?? It seems like the new owners are trying to do their best at creating a good burger however they're just basically putting the basics together. What I would suggest.. Smash those burgers crisp up that flavor.. be sure to melt the cheese. Be sure to toast and butter the bun Get those fries nice and golden.

Anyways other than that great service a decent attempt at a cheeseburger, what I had today was just the basic cheeseburger just to see how it stacked up against the good old days. Anybody from around the area would definitely recognize the difference. I did it really enjoy the milkshake and I would recommend if you wanted to try one I would try the bumbleberry. They do have about 20 original flavors which are actually quite good. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and I'm certainly going to come back again some other day but I still wish that it was as it was when I was a kid growing...

We have never been here before in the many years we have resided in Calgary. We stumbled upon this hidden gem amongst our travels to the nearest supermarket, and to get gas nearby. We must say what an amazing experience from start to finish.

Excellent customer service from an even friendlier staff, terrific atmosphere, great smelling burgers and even better prices then most fast food restaurants.

I personally got the mushroom swiss burger with a side of deep fried pickles and a vanilla milk shake. I have tasted many burgers before, but all i have to say is.... WOW ....Mouthwatering delicious!!! So good, that this is my new goto place.

My girlfriend emphasizes how yummy her burger was. She got the back bacon burger with cheese and a side of deep fried zucchini sticks. She further states that this her new goto place as well!!!

They even have an outdoor seating area for family and friends!!

I ordered a Veggie Mushroom Swiss burger today at the drive through. I do not eat meat and this was always a good vegetarian treat. This was a restaurant I enjoyed frequently having lived in the neighbourhood for 10 years. Always smiling, friendly and wonderful people. I moved across the city a year and a half ago. I travelled here today to get my usual order. The staff were friendly and polite. Upon returning home I cut the burger in half to share with a family member who can NOT eat meat for medical dietary restrictions. I discovered AFTER eating a bite of my burger that I was served a meat burger. My elderly family member had already eaten their portion! I’m feeling disgusted. I tried several times over hours to call the restaurant to inform them. My intention was and is NOT to get a refund or remake. I just wanted to let them know so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. They do not answer and the voicemail is full so I cannot even leave a message. There is also no available email address I can find on...
