Empire Shawarma - Donair & Falafel — Restaurant in Calgary

Best discovery we've had since we moved to Calgary 3 weeks ago! Their service is friendly and their portions are awesome. Their food is mouth-wateringly good. I had their chicken platter and my hubby took their large chicken wrap. He barely finished his. I have a whole second meal left over. It was delish! The fun doesn't stop there. It's not just a restaurant, it's also a small store. They have all kinds of staple food from Lebanon. Turkish delight, Halavla, pita bread, awesome home made hummus, lots of pickled produce, honey, spices, and so much more that you'll just have to stop by and discover. Definitely will be a regular stop...

Customer service is amazing, they carry high quality Arabic sweets and Arabic boza. Great selection to choose from. Update, opened the sweet boxes😅couldn't resist the temptation. It is epic😋😋😋. Al Sultan sweets and Al wissam are close in the quality and the difference that I found is the variety in the collection that Al Wissam carry is more, the weight and 5 dollars difference in price.The only thing I would do go with Nafeeseh guriabia instead of the Sham brand. I geothermal pettiefour from Nafesseh and it is so tasty. The Sham sweet is ok but Nafesseh diffently better! Definitely this place will be my to go...

Oh my days! When I say the best shawarma I have ever tasted, I mean it. This place is so underratedly good especially their chicken shawarma including their spice which is a hit. The owner is very friendly and tells me what the food are and the place is pretty nice since it is like a resturant mixed with a grocery shopping. The sweets also hit different and I will definitely come back here.
