Riverside Park — Attraction in Cambridge

Used an unnamed picnic Pavilion for a family reunion. Unfortunately the water had been turned off in the closest bathrooms, resulting in only one open washroom facility in the center of the park.This didn't make sense as there was a Terry Fox run a dog rescue program and a vendor's Market happening on that same day and the park was full of people just walking around. Finding a washroom was quite a chore and was a good distance away. Of course this led to certain members of the group to use the forest as an alternate bathroom. If they are going to shut the water off when the summer is over they will need to provide more porta potties throughout the park for the many people who are walking through otherwise the forests will become...

This Park is one of the largest public parks operated by the city of Cambridge. Baseball diamonds, Soccer Pitches, skate boarding area but that's for the young. So i enjoy the trails and picnic areas throughout this fine park on the banks of the Speed River. This river is navigation orientated for the Grand River Water Shed emptying into Lake Erie. Game fish and wildlife galore Host to the Kinsmen Carnival Rib Fest and a awesome fireworks display on Canada Day make a point of attending.
