Great facility, lots of money has been invested and has been spent on this park.

Best, free use, jungle gym, castle... in Canada!

Has a workout area for passive exercise.

Bridge crossing a bay inlet connected near a dog park, and an extensive bike track.

The millennium ponds are a great visionary idea, they weren't thought out extensively for hygiene, animal waste, and sustainability, without much added maintenance.

The city is always trying to maintain them but between the geese poop, algae, sea weed and mud built up, it is less than hygienic at times between maintenance.

It's still fun and usable. Just be ready for some back woods real life, environmental factors. No, they aren't chlorinated pools, so don't expect them to be sanitized and safe for drinking.

If you have issues with this stuff then don't camping out in the wild, and deal with common sense real-life challenges. True...

It's still a great place to visit and walk around in the winter month especially with the dog parks and all the joy my boy Odie gets. The truth is that in the mid spring through to mid fall the beauty and splendor of the Kootneys really shines and fully down to the spirit of the Kootenay area all the activities from bike paths with all the cruising and then the bike park with sick hits and daredevil jumps. It's an in town experience of what the of the mountain biking gurus created around the area of Castlegar like up at Merry Creek where if the major fire last year in that are we didn't wipe them out there were very professional and personal routes for bikers to go all over after a...

Really nice park. Plenty of places to walk and to walk your dog. They have off-leash designated areas for a large medium and small sized dogs. They also have wading pools for your dogs in these areas as well. This park has fantastic swimming areas for kids, teenagers and adults. Great River side walkways to enjoy the wonderful vistas that the Columbia River has to offer! Very well organized and maintained grounds! There are a number of different sports activity Fields or tennis courts, sandy Volleyball courts, soccer pitches and Exercise equipment Etc. In short, a great place to take your family and friends and your dog when...

This park have 2 ponds/beaches for swimming (with kid's slide) connected to the river. Lots of picnic tables and benches amd trees for sunshade. Park has lots of green space, kid's playground, outdoor excercise equipments, food concession, lots of parking space, walk/bike pathway and a very clean washrooms/change rooms with outdoor showers.

A beautiful place to walk, sit and visit, and/or eat. It's great to see the concession & washrooms. The pools look fun but unfortunately the geese using them as bathrooms can mean looking but not touching. Still, very lovely place to visit and wander around. Do be aware of local wildlife and respect them for it's also their space.
