Dauphin Rail Museum — Attraction in Dauphin

I always like to explore the museum whenever I’m in Dauphin. The depth of history is incredible! Love the red caboose! They let me try on the conductor hat and we had a long chat about how the telegraph was as ubiquitous back then as phones are today. Staff are very friendly and always willing to answer questions and share stories.

This time we took the passenger train to McCreary and had snacks & beers in the observation car while we tried to spot telegraph poles....

My family and I went to the Dauphin Rail Museum today and let me tell ya, what a great experience!! We met a very kind fellow, Jason Gilmore as well as his father. They were full of historical facts to share, which was wonderful to hear. The kids loved seeing everything there was here. Thanks Jason for making out visit so much more enriched and full. I appreciate your additions and knowledge. Would certainly recommend going to see this...

All that has been said by other reviewers I wholeheartedly support, and there is a small library of archived videos the staff are only too pleased to put on the tv.
