I always like to explore the museum whenever I’m in Dauphin. The depth of history is incredible! Love the red caboose! They let me try on the conductor hat and we had a long chat about how the telegraph was as ubiquitous back then as phones are today. Staff are very friendly and always willing to answer questions and share stories.
This time we took the passenger train to McCreary and had snacks & beers in the observation car while we tried to spot telegraph poles....
