This is a nice collection of buildings and artifacts. We tripped over it completely by accident on a random drive north from Wassagaming in Riding Mountain National Park. The staff suggested we start with the main building while they unlocked all the other buildings for us. Which they did. We had the whole place to ourselves. According to the guest book, this place doesn't see a lot of visitors. At least not midweek in early July. That's a shame. This is a nice little museum and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. You will leave with an appreciation of how the area grew from a fur trading post to a vibrant town on the edge of the escarpment! Very interesting to say the least!!
