Westridge Park — Attraction in Edmonton

A wonderful neighbourhood and park! Definitely beauty and a peaceful setting abounds here...just another firm testament to Edmonton's marvelous river valley and interface with unspoiled natural settings in the middle of an urban setting. The only disappointment, at this time, was that one branch of the many branched trail here was closed and under significant reconstruction due to washing out. However, well worth the visit...

It's a little scary of you have kids that like to climb and have no fear yet. On the bigger structure, they are able to go up pretty high using just plain stairs, and then at that height (over 6 feet) there are places that are open, so they can just step right off. It's nice that there's a parking lot to use and the sightlines are great pretty much where ever you are...
