I was trying to figure something out for dinner and looking to try somewhere i hadn't been before. I thought I'd give Rice to Go a try as they have positive reviews. I ordered some chicken fried rice, lemon chicken and brocolli beef, all 3 dishes came out to just under $54. After having spent $80? At pf changs this was a steal. Rice to Go as the name implies is just a take out and maybe delivery resturaunt, there's no sitting in and eating. I placed my order 20 minutes before they closed and they were happy to take it, some places shut their kitchen down 30 minutes before close so this was nice. I kind of expected the food might not be good as this close to close one doesn't always get quality. That was not the case, the chicken fried rice were delicious and hot, great amount of chicken chunks and good ribbons of eggs throughout. I personally hate when places skimp on the egg and chicken in the fried rice, thankfully this was not the case. The lemon chicken was delicious, a large portion which one would hope for at $18 and the batter was crisp. The lemon sauce was also very tasty. I will say my friend doesn't like it and found the batter to be too much for his taste. However for me I thought it was great. The broccoli beef was in my opinion the weakest dish, it was good, the broccoli tasty but the beef wasn't at the level of the fried rice and lemon chicken. Ill definetly try this place again as the chicken fried rice and lemon chicken were fantastic.

My wife and I recently dined at Rice to Go, and we had a nice experience. Vincent, our server, was exceptionally kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. One of the standout aspects of Rice to Go is their extensive selection of gluten-free options. As someone who needs to be mindful of dietary restrictions, I was thrilled to see so many delicious choices available. Every dish we tried was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The visit to Rice to Go was a good one. It’s what you’re looking for, fast and fresh Chinese food. We definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great dining experience, especially those seeking gluten-free options!

Nice new addition to the westend as decent Chinese food is tough to find unless downtown. Take out only here and they were busy on a Friday night. Ordered a meal for 4 and the servings were jam-packed and smoking hot. Took about 20 mins or so for our food but the staff were very apologetic for the wait and tossed in some extra spring rolls for me which was a kind gesture. The value for what you get is exceptional and of course each dish tasted great and seasoned perfectly. An added bonus for me was the food wasn't swimming in oil and had generous portions of meat, unlike other westend Chinese restaurants. This place will be a regular stop for our family for sure.

Christmas Day, ordered delivery due to 4.5 rating on Google, but pretty much all dishes were bland. Singapore noodles had some hints of curry but wasn't spicy as suggested in the menu and lacking in flavour. Similar for the chicken fried rice. Szechuan beef was flavourful, but the beef was kind of gummy like it hadn't been deep-fried long enough, or too much coating, or something. Lemon chicken was good, dry garlic ribs were double-dipped in coating or something - lots of it to get through to the meat. Wouldn't be in a hurry to order from again, which is too bad as it's quite close to our place. Oh, they forgot one dish but as I was about to phone, they showed up with the missing dish, so good service that way.

UPDATED Sept 29/24: Heard it was under new management so decided to give it another try. Ordered on their website, said pickup would be 15 minutes - wow! Got there in about 20 minutes, was told it would be another 7 minutes. The gal at the front waved at the food tickets lined up as if that made it OK. I mentioned the website and she kinda waved it off as if that shouldn't be relied on and wasn't interested in suggestions to make it more accurate or give a time range instead of a specific pickup time. Came back in 10, still not ready, but one more minute was accurate. Dishes were generally better - now I would say the dry ribs were the weak link. Too crispy by a lot, just kind of crunched and crumbled into crumbs. But Szechuan beef was very tasty, fried rice was quite good, Singapore Noodles could've been spicier but still enjoyable. We had ordered Mixed Greens but were given a chicken/bbq pork/shrimp dish with veggies, which was fine with us. Over all a much better experience and would order again, but DO NOT TRUST THE TIME GIVEN BY...

We discovered this place based on online recommendations and ordered delivery a few times from them as we liked the food. The last time we ordered (during a snow storm) the food delivered was old - rice was crunchy, and noodles were just bad. When we called to complain, the person who answered the phone had ZERO customer relations skills. Ultimately, this person initially offered free rice and noodles the next time ordered. We brought up the point that their proposed "fix" wasn't really free if the food they provided was going in garbage. He then said we were unthankful and ultimately hung up on us. Upon calling back, they resorted to yelling and swearing. Among many shocking things spoken, he said he: 'didn't care we we ever ordered from them again'. Never have we ever experienced such disrespectful and appalling treatment. We will never order from this place again. Gets 1 star since that means that we hated it, but really, this place deserves negative stars dragged down by their...
