Please take note, this is a trail that takes you to the beach, which is a clothing optional beach, along this strip of water front. Also there are 319 actual steps (excluding flat/landing sections) down to the beach. It is beautiful and the trees are huge and amazing. Note there is no over night parking and the road closes at 10pm.

Stairs down are good with plenty of parking available by the entrance. Other than that it disappoints when you reach the bottom. The trail is mostly just walking along logs with muddy areas and minimal sand.

Less busy than the Wreck beach trail. Good spot to run steps. The beaches however are not sandy, mostly muddy and rocky.

Stick to main trail and you'll be fine. Head to the underbrush and things get stickier, including some challenging, muddy creek beds complete with own water feature and steep embankments. Ground beneath one's feet rarely flat. Don'ts attempt with flip flops or soft-sided shoes. Unless you're hankering for a sprained...
