Very great route for canoeing and kayaking. It took about 5 hours but it was adventurous and I really enjoyed it. You never expected that this is in the backyard of Toronto.

Great place for a canoe paddle. Winding rivers and creeks make for an interesting paddle and you can see lots of wildlife if you go at the right time (such as dusk).

Nature at its best. 3 rivers meeting to create a magnificent wetlands that stretch forever. Angus is where town and country meets forest and wetlands.

I’m extremely frustrated with the fishing regulations in Angus, Ontario. In addition to the Ontario Outdoors Card and fishing license, you're forced to purchase yet another permit to fish in certain areas. This extra fee is not only unnecessary but feels like a blatant cash grab.

During my visit, I found the area poorly maintained and not up to the standards you’d expect given the multitude of fees. With already high taxes, this feels like an exploitation of outdoor enthusiasts. It’s unacceptable that we have to pay even more to enjoy nature.

I urge others to avoid this location until they address these unjust fees. The lack of accountability and transparency about how these funds are used is outrageous. We deserve better management and a clear explanation of where our...

People are not paying the 40 dollar pass fee instead they get there early at Don Ross around 5am and 6am get drop off and picked up later catch a lot of salmon go home without ever getting a ticket on there vehicle so you have maybe 10 minutes to catch them. So much for the no boat launch. Now that no canoes or boats can go down River from the Don Ross Park because of no boat launch sign it is way to busy on the bank of the river. It is a shame because I will never find a spot on the bank and it is dangerous to walk along the bank. I hope it changes. I am getting older now and like to fish but too busy. Too...

We canoed from Angus to Edenvale. On the Nottawasaga River. The log jams we encountered were nasty messes the portage around the first was bad and the portage for the next was even worse. Walking through stinging nettles and giant hog weed after the steep climb up the bank then down a 6ft bank to the river to put the canoe back in. I was a tiresome day there were no warnings or any easy way around...
