Don't know who is running this Starbucks... but I can say, If you have a disability of any kind I would avoid this location like the plague. I have been here a few times and have experienced some rude drive thru staff occasionally. Nothing outrageous or worth reporting, just woke up on the wrong side of the bed kinda vibes. Never anything that has put a damper on my day...until now!
My friend and I Ordered off the app FOR ACCESSIBLY NEEDS last week, plus I figured it's the same amount of time to make a mobile order than to go up to the speaker. It's faster to just say my name verse my complicated drink. Or you'd think....
the drive-thru barista had other opinions and yells at us for ordering via mobile app. Even though it was completely empty, they were not busy and it would have took 5 minutes with possiblity of mistakes on our order verse the app being accurate and easy to understand. The barista yelled at us over the speaker and said how we need to wait 5-10 minutes... Like I said it is actually faster to do this verse us trying to explain what we want, with my reading issues and my friends speech impediment, it would have taken forever and we both have specific modifications on the drinks. Saying our names is much more simple. I have been to stores all across Canada and the US, always ordered off the app and gone into the drive-thru a few moments after sending the order to the store. NEVER have I EVER been told this, nor have I received such an outrageously rude tone/treatment like this.
Needless to say I called Starbucks HR to express how unaccessible and to clarify if a new policy has been created. The HR rep said there is no such policy and that it's unreasonable and inappropriate for the barista to have said that to us. The HR rep was super nice and explained that they should not have told us to wait, that Starbucks prides themselves on trying to accommodate all customers as much as possible and try to change things when it is voiced that it needs to be addressed.
Funny enough, a few days prior I had ordered off the app while in the drive thru and had a lovely human interaction at this location. Bring that barista back LOL.
Tried to call the store to speak to a manager and no one answered. Tried calling again and was told the manager was not in and they hung-up on me when I was going to ask when they would be in. I have yet to get any contact by the store rep/management (probably because they wouldn't allow me to leave a...
Read moreThe worst business in Angus, my ham and swiss cheese croissent was over salty, it was the tiniest crossent I’ve ever seen, it was more like half a croissent, when I realised I was missing items, they refused to give me back my money after beig there 3 times first to order, after to request missing items, all through drive through, the third time I went in asked for my money, as they weren’t able to fullfil my order. They ref, I won’t be going to the Angus location ever. They are clueless about business, customer service, and their product isn’t worth the price, the staff is untrained, and unproffessional. They also call the cops on people who demand their money back, for missing items. No to starbucks in Angus for me after 3 attemps at getting my order I still don’t have it, and they kept my money. Starbucks in Angus a...
Read moreI literally can't believe the nerve of the employee with the purple hair! Who does she think she is? I mobile ordered drinks for my daughter and I while sitting at Nottawasaga Pines SS. From there I drove to the Starbucks and up to the box. With traffic and lights it probably took me 7 minutes or so to get there. I was rudely told I have to wait ten minutes after placing a mobile order to drive up. I tried to explain that I basically did before she cut me off. I get to the window and she legit came over and proceeded to argue and try to call me a liar saying the computer showed I had ordered it one minute prior. I don't care what the system says. It's wrong! I go to Starbucks at least once per day at various locations around here and the GTA and have NEVER had this issue. Nor have I had a staff member be this level of...
