A&W Canada — Restaurant in Essa

I was unfortunate to be the recipient of one of the worst displays of incompetence I have ever witnessed out of a fast food restaurant.

I was a drive thru customer and ordered 2 burger combos, one of them with no lettuce which I confirmed 3 times.

The place was dead, 1 customer eating inside and me and only me going through the drive thru but the guy at the window insisted I pull around after paying despite there not being another car behind me for another 5 minutes.

I arrived at 8:20PM and I wouldn't recieve my food until 8:50PM despite there being no other customers, once I did receive my food one burger was undercooked and the cheese wasn't melted and the other one, the one I ordered without lettuce had no other toppings but lettuce.

All of this is part of a steep decline in both customer service and food quality I have witnessed these past couple months.

I really hope this location straightens up its act and starts performing to the standard that customers...

Ordered on the mobile app @11:45pm.. I arrive at the store. I pull up to the window and the worker says they turned everything off and I’ll have to cancel my order in the mobile app, told him I can’t cancel it lol. I asked for a refund was told that the refund is not possible. Okay so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do? The worker then tells me that it’s gonna take 15-20 minutes to make the burger.. I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes. Gave me ice cold food and the drink was half filled.

I’ve never had an issue here and I live close by so I come here frequently.

Not impressed at all, the fact that I was asked to cancel my order.. why would I want to cancel when I’m starving and just got off work for 9 hours lol.

Just had the WORST food I have ever had from A&W. I waited 10 minutes for my food and they felt like they were prepared yesterday. I repeated my order THREE TIMES to the woman in the drive thru.

I got a double chicken buddy burger and specifically requested lettuce AND CHEDDAR CHEESE on the burger. I was CHARGED for the cheese and didn’t receive it. My chicken burger patties were so dry and disgusting I didn’t even get through half the burger before throwing it out.

My boyfriend got a cheddar bacon uncle burger with ROTTEN, SOGGY tomato and a WET BUN!!!!!!

Absolutely outrageous. $40 WASTED!!!!!!!!!!! ZERO STARS
