Goderich Main Beach was definitely a good spot to go to for a beautiful day at a beach. We have been spoiled with crystal clear blue waters all of our lives so our beach standards are different to say the least. We are constantly searching for some new and beautiful experience in the outdoors and out in nature providing us safe opportunities to social distance. We came across Goderich Beach. We were truly surprised and equally pleased with how great it was. Individuals and families both would be able to enjoy all it has to offer. The water is clear and blue, and passes the "see your toes wiggle" while standing up in the water test. There is a long stretch of beach with parking conveniently nearby. There is a good stretch of boardwalk with wooden benches all along the walk that have been nicely dedicated to families' loved ones and shaded by trees. You would even be able to pull up in your car under a tree and enjoy a meal with a view from your vehicle and a cool breeze. There is work being done to both the beach and the boardwalk, however there is still ample space readily available for your enjoyment. There was a couple jet skiing, another canoeing, while several others relaxed on blankets and sat in beach chairs, or played with their pets near the water. The people in the community were also friendly which added to the positive experience. There is a 4+star reviewed restuarant directly across from the beach called "Beach Street Station" with patio seating that I'm confident will meet your expectations of a meal with great view. We even got to see tugboat Ocean A. Simard effortlessly guide the Algoma Innovator in. Both vessel teams did a phenomenal job. Great work today! There is also an icecream shop and suitable restroom facilities. Just up the street is the Goderich Main Town Circle with several cute shops and restaurants offering outside seating including "Steve and Mary's" which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. You will also see several well maintained antique vehicles which is always a fun sight. Overall, today was an absolutely positively amazing day. Will definitely return and always reccomend. Stay awesome Goderich!

Whether your interests lie in sunbathing, swimming, or simply savoring a tranquil shoreline promenade, Goderich Beach promises a peaceful and idyllic setting for a leisurely day by the water. This family-friendly locale is typically characterized by a moderate level of visitors, providing a tranquil atmosphere for most of the year. However, it's worth noting that during long weekends, a modest increase in attendance can be expected. The presence of a charming lighthouse and convenient food stalls in close proximity enhances the overall experience. Families with children will appreciate the inclusion of a dedicated kids' play area, adding to the recreational options available. Additionally, the presence of cozy pocket spaces within the vicinity allows visitors to partake in delightful picnics while relishing the natural surroundings.

A small ⛱ beach, with pretty much things we expect of how the beach looks/feels like. It's a bit rocky, so make sure to bring some nice water shoes. We went there last July 3rd, 2021 - not really crowded. Water was cold so we we unable to enjoy the water. Parking is paid - T-I-P : the Rotary Cove is just beside it - you can able to walk if you are in a budget. Not so much of a walk as well. Parking is free at Rotary Cove, also the stairs there is another extra parking spot for both beach just in case it gets full especially this summer season. There are some stall that you can buy food, if you did not bring anything, washroom is there so nothing to worry😉 We brought our food and have a nice picnic the whole day.

Goderich is often called the pritties town in Canada. Goderich beach is the main attraction here. You can observe the beauty of Lake Huron from Goderich Beach. The long beach has three parts : The main beach, the St. Christopher beach and the Rotary Cove beach. The Rotary Cove beach is the longest. They are just side by side, no difference. You need to pay for the parking, that's all. The beach contains sands, small pebbles, large stones. Lots of strong waves. Washrooms are quite okay. You can do berbeque there. Kid friendly, has playground. Walmart, Tim Hortons are not so far from the beach. Very beautiful beach at Ontario.
