Definitely recommend checking out this museum. The exhibits are great, and while there was a lot of focus on the Beothuk, there were also exhibits about the history of the Mi'kmaq, early settlers, mining, the fishery, and paper mill.
There was also a large room devoted to rug hooking - which may not sound glamourous - but the rugs on display are truly pieces of art. It was an hour well spent.
