It’s exhausting but I’m going to keep sharing reviews like this until companies (including private ones such as these) value and take the safety of diverse clientele seriously. Especially since BIPOC dollars matter A LOT now and always. The “gatekeeper”/ woman running the stand, was excessively aggressive about their mask mandate despite the fact that A) provincial orders had been lifted, B) all the other guests inside or departing were mask free AND C) cherry picking takes place outside where the space available to social distance is abundant. This woman was NOT happy to see us and made no attempt to conceal her prejudice. Blocking the entrance to five masked children excited to commence the cherry picking she even suggested we come back when there was more time. 😒 She went so far as to say: “Well we don’t know where you’re from…”. Precisely so DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS!!!! I literally live right here, I told her. Needless to say it put a damper on what was meant to be a fun and special day.

Read moreBest prices on cherries we found! . You control what type of cherries and amount you pick- ( not sure why some people complained about leafs in their buckets or size of the cherries as you are in control of what you pick! ) we came away with some large delicious cherries! Read moreFriendly local place to pick cherries. We had a chance to pick the skeena cherries (mid July) and they were big, juicy and crunchy! The trees were prune well so they are not too tall and our little ones were able to pick themselves. A ladder was provided to get the best of the best top of the tree! They are not an organic farm and they recommend giving it a wash with just water before enjoying your delicious cherries.
$4/lbs u-pick and $4.50/lbs for pre-picked available...
