Small museum on the outskirts of Montreal displays the history of the country side from the 17th century. Some exhibits are in French, however the staff was very helpful translating, providing tours in both French and English. There are also interactive activities for kids, such as an archeological dig, teaching children how to unearth artifacts then use deductive reasoning to place it in the right time period. The main exhibit is about the history of the area that features explanations in French only and then small pieces of pottery shards, bones, arrowheads, etc. The temporary exhibit looked at giant sloths. Just a few small bones and such on display but otherwise mostly placards with information you can get off the internet.
