Second Chance Decor Inc — Attraction in Lincoln

I have purchased from SCD 4 times and I have been disappointed each and everytime. On their social media pages it says new never used and that is absolutely false.

The first time we bought a blow up mattress my husband took it away camping and was left to sleep on the ground for the weekend. It had a hole in it and deflated. We exchanged it for another one. I could see the box had been opened but I didn’t think too much of it. I took it home and wanted to test it out before our next trip. It had HAIR, FOOD, CRUMBS, STICKY “stuff” , and marks ALL OVER it. I returned it. I was told they do their best to check items before selling it. They clearly did not check this items as it was obviously USED.

I bought camping chairs. A guys offered to bring them to the desk for me. When I got there they said. Oh they don’t come with the carrying bag. Ok… why not make that known and visible on the sign before I get to the cash.

Lastly I purchased a comforter. It was wrapped up so I could not examine the whole thing. When I got home I started to take it out and stopped bc it had a HUGE rip in it. There’s no way this item was looked at. If it was then the condition was ignored. Upon further investigation it was clearly washed, got a hole in it so it was returned. That is a USED ITEM.

Customer service is barely friendly at best. Not to mention the prices are high given most of the stuff is dented, marked up missing pieces etc.

I will say I love the concept and appreciate they have always done my returns without question. However, I will not be returning and wasting my...

Make sure you get a receipt and please make sure you do t rely on promises to find matches of anything. Steve will gleefully tell you he will and then after he has your money will also tell you that he found what you needed but sold it off.

In my case I ordered a large volume of items. They gave me a package price. They then sent me a note saying if I didn’t pay more they would refund me holding back a restocking fee that I never agreed to.

They then needed an item to stage their home for sale and kept it back. They offered me 60 for the use of the table

Then when they refunded me they said the 60 was paid for the table itself.

They lie and strong arm you. Do not give them a cent. I’ve asked for my receipts, I’m sure none will come as they are frauds. I will take them to small claims and let target and USA rugs know who they are dealing...

Shopped here for the first time yesterday, I was looking for area rugs, which Second Chance Decor had an abundance of with great variety and quality. I bought two and a door mat. The inventory was well presented and it was easy to shop here. What is super amazing about Second Chance Decor is the owner/staff! Seriously! When my friend I I walked in Amanda greeted us with such a great smile and enthusiasm we immediately felt like we were with friends. She was patient and knowledgeable about the rugs and even shared her honest opinion. Steve was equally amazing helping with pricing and getting the rugs down and to my vehicle.
