Cathedral of the Transfiguration — Attraction in Markham

Pleasant exterior marred by Sutter Kane's eventual obliteration of what we know as existence.

Visited as part of a cross-Ontario trip, and I personally preferred a certain covered bridge near Kitchener - which only slightly damaged my sanity... so, take notes, Cathedral of the Transfiguration.

Didn't care for the fact that visiting this church resulted in me sheltering a shattered Sam Neil in my house for close to two days, which had its low points and its mediocre points.

Hot dog vendors set up near church when we visited in August, so that was nice. Didn't have malt vinegar, so minus 1 star to both vendor and church. Prices reasonable - though why does everything cost so much now!? - and human-fish hybrid people were largely...

A beautiful church named after two main slavic Macedonian religious leaders that helped spread christianity to Europe Cyril and Methidy unfortunately this church hasn't been used by the slovakian community for year's. It's all about human nature and how when a people don't commit to the church and community is given such a beautiful place of worship even Pope from Rome blessed all gone to waste. If I had the resources I'd turn it into a orthodox Macedonian...

I come here every Sunday. COVID-19 has disrupted this however. Mass is very beautiful and the priests Do a good job all the time. The community is also very dedicated and the cathedral is run by people who lead the choir and clean and maintain the church themselves. Masses are in English, Greek and Arabic. In the morning, it is only in English. There are also only two mass times, 10 (English) and...
