Awesome time for the whole family.
As someone who has been experiencing Joyride, as an amateur rider, since it opened in my teen years to now bringing my children to ignite and carry their own passion for bikes. Joyride has something to offer for everyone on a bike and even those who just want to spectate. The extremely friendly and accommodating staff make you feel extremely comfortable and are ready to help you with anything you need from finding you the right rental to helping you fix your own ride if you happen to break down. They are also extremely helpful in dealing with situations involving injury, rider conflict (if any at all) and any safety hazards around the park.
With the addition of The Boiler Room, you have access to knowledgable staff that can guide you or your child to your first bike purchase, help you piece together your dream build or help you find that perfect part to complete your current build.
Overall, the availability of safety gear, components, snacks and rental gear, an amazing staff and MASSIVE facility makes 8-12 hours of riding dissapear in what feels like minutes. I highly reccomend the Joyride 150 anyone and everyone. Get out there and SEND IT!
The only thing I would like to see is more merch! Bring the trucker hats back! Let's see some Joyride gloves? Riding jerseys?
Thank you...
Read moreStaff were friendly and helpful. It was our first time there. Went in as a family and it was myself and my son who was celebrating his birthday. I would suggest to bring your own bike and helmet. Helmet is mandatory and suggested and other accessories are optional but highly recommended if you’re doing risky routes and stunts. Will cost you an arm and a leg, $160 for 2 persons. They were nice enought to refund me for myself as they were too extreme for my age. Between 1-6pm I think were busiest and parking was a challenge. I took one star off due to washroom cleanliness and staff should be in some of the areas like the foam pit. Some customers were not following instructions and were jumping while someone was still in pit. Most dangerous thing was there were kids running around in the foam pit track and using it as slides. Me and another parent were policing it. When my son went down the ramp, a kid suddenly ran into his way so we shouted at them. Itself not a playground for slides. One kid from same group threw a water bottle on the track too on the foam pit area. People can seriously get hurt. The mom was their and turned her back. Staff should be place in those areas just to...
Read moreNothing short of incredible. Took our 8-year old son and both myself and my wife rented a bike and got on the tracks as well. Plenty to do from beginner to advanced, nice easy tracks to ease into it. Our son loved trying out some air in the foam pit. Our only complaint was we felt like we didn’t have enough time! Will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area!
Updated Sept 23: we returned a second time and had just as much fun as the first time. Made it to the outdoor track this time which was a fantastic experience as nobody else was there, so we had the area to ourselves. Only issue we encountered on this visit was a family of 3 (2 parents and their child who was on a beginner bike, the ones with no pedals) trying to use the intermediate ramp section. Their child was probably only 3-4 years old and despite there being 5 or 6 of us lined up waiting to use the jumps, they continued to allow their child to walk through the track, nearly causing an accident on one occasion. Wish there had been one staff member on that side of the park to tell them they shouldn’t be there as they were posing a safety risk not only to their child but the...
