Hume Park has a lot to offer. They have a playground that is relatively new (upgraded just over a year ago). The play ground has structures for bigger kids, and a smaller structure more suitable for toddlers. They have a recently renovated water park with with very fun looking features. There is a dog park, a tennis court, a lacrosse box, and a pool all located in the upper part of the park. Plenty of field space for tossing a frisbee, football, or baseball. Could be more parking, but people seem to get by the way it is. The lower park has its own separate parking that is accessible from E.Columbia. The lower park has a covered picnic structure, a large field, and access to th he creek on the north side of the park.

Open grass fire LFA for those wanting some space to throw a ball or disc. Some trails to walk as well as a off leash dog park for your best friend to get some exercise. There are also tennis courts, bathrooms, picnic tables, benches, a lacrosse area, an outdoor pool (closed) and a baseball diamond. There are (at least) two parking lots on opposite ends of the park. Another nice feature were the abundance of trees one can use for shade on those hot, sunny days. Plenty of groups also brought their temporary shelters. Would recommend this place to a friend and will...
