Meaford Museum — Attraction in Meaford

Ahhhh I love our little museum. I like maps so I spent most of my visit pouring over those in the collection. There's all kinds of neat things in there. Worth a quick visit no matter if you're a local or a visitor. If you go on the weekend in the summer, there is also a used book store (the Net Shed) across the street run by volunteers for the library that is pay by donation. Plus a park is also nearby and not to mention the waterfront... You can spend quite the pleasant afternoon without leaving Bayview road. Don't skip out...

It is a very nice local museum and they sell great unique souvenirs and local jam s, honey etc. It's very fresh ,delicious and not expensive at all! They have great hand made jewelry too, very moderately priced. I always get honey and hot pepper r jelly from this place. check it out! admission is by donation, so it's up to you. Great little museum overflowing with local history! Very interesting to see a stained glass window with Sir John A. MacDonald's image in the glass, and read about its mysterious, still unknown origin!! Amazing that such a significant piece of history has found its home in a tiny museum in Meaford! ...
