Etobicoke Creek Trail at Sismet Rd — Attraction in Mississauga

I had no idea this trail existed, even though I’ve been on Sismet Road countless times. While waiting for my daughter to finish her volleyball game, I decided to explore the trail, and to my surprise, it turned out to be a hidden gem! There were some people walking or biking along the path, but it wasn’t crowded. We discovered a creek, and the boys had a blast exploring the water, searching for creatures beneath the rocks—they even found some crawfish! The water was clean, and we were there in the late afternoon, so the trail was fully shaded where we started. It was a peaceful and pleasant walk, and we even spotted a deer nibbling on...

I come to Etobicoke trail several time from different entrances. Its an easy trail for family, small children n dog trail . This entrance is my first time, it's about 8 km round trip, it isn't a loop trail. The entrance has not parking, only 2 cars can park on the roadside. Monday to Friday cannot park. However ,u can find a nearby parking n walk down the entrance. Along the trail, you will enjoy birds song, beautiful creek view, bee farm place n a rest point near Britannia road area. Great to come here during salmon run and Autumn color...

Nice walking trail, also really nice to bring a bike to cycle down which quite a lot of people were doing. This hiking trail has some really cool views of airplane flying in! Flat in some parts and steep in some others but the path we hiked was paved and easy to follow.
