I am so disappointed as I was extremely excited when I heard eggstastic had a new location. I have been wanting to go back for about 2 years now, since the last time I visited the original location in Bayview (and had a positive experience, where I loved everything). But Eggstastic Mississauga? I would give it a 0.5/5 star, not even a 1 star. Save your money and more importantly, save your time. Don't bother coming here. The menu items are a little pricey (understandable in a post-covid time, but not for the quality of items you get. I'd rather spend that much at another restaurant). Unfortunately we had a very poor experience at the new Mississauga location. Despite visiting on a weekday, we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive (specifically the main). It is ridiculous as kids had to stay seated and they were getting impatient/tired/bored. There was no communication or whatsoever to say that it'll take longer than expected. There was a point that I was ready to just walk out. The restaurant was a little busy when we arrived, but a lot of tables had already received their items so it shouldn't have taken longer than 15 or 20 mins for it to be ready. There were even people who had come after us who got their food before us despite ordering after. Additionally, though we had a very friendly server, we didn't enjoy your experience at all and will most likely never come back (definitely not to this location at least), for the following reasons, in addition to the wait time (which the staff had said was due to an incident that occurred- which again, was never communicated until we said that it was unacceptable for it to take over an hour to get an order of poached eggs, with chicken, salad, fruit and potatoes): • when the food arrived, not only did the salad look so bad (like I can make a better one at home), the "fruits" that was supposed to come with the order ended up being a few grapes that didn't look like they were even washed. ° the chicken was hard and either overcooked or undercooked. ° since coffee was served at the very beginning, we couldn't even have it with our meal because by then the drink would be cold so we had to have that before the food. ° the pancakes were delicious and I will them a point for being generous on the pistachio serving BUT, the pancake itself was not well cooked. It was way too bready and not soft, but was masked up with all the toppings from the pistachios. ° there was no pistachio ice cream, it was in fact just regular vanilla ice cream with a pistachio topping. ° a lot of the items on the menu were not available because of an issue they have with the supply they mentioned (ie: kafta, kibbeh and hummus not available), but I think this may also be possibly impacting the rest of the menu too, as I could see that from the stuff we got. Regardless, we receive 25% off our meal in the end for all the inconvenience but despite that, I would say it was not worth our time (made us late for our appointments) and I would definitely not come back. I am extremely disappointed because all the excitement I had for this place has completely gone to waste.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had, and it's a shame because I love the Toronto location and was so excited one was opening in Mississauga. Overview is that I think they opened too early and were not prepared. I went in a party of 6 and ALL our orders were wrong, we were misinformed about the dishes, incorrectly charged, food was not good and everything else was disorganized. I recommend going to the Toronto location until this location has time to grow. Longer version for anyone interested: Our waitress was very nice and friendly, and I don't blame her for our experience. However, 4 of us ordered the Spicy Nashville Benedict. It was supposed to come on English muffins by default, as everyone expected. But then all of them came on toast, we asked why and our waitress was also confused. She went back to the kitchen and was told they were out of muffins so they cooked it on bread without asking or offering other options (bagels, croissants, etc), which everyone would have preferred. 3 of the 4 orders also got their cooked eggs wrong and the chicken for 2 of them was so salty my friends couldn't eat it. I got steak and eggs, but there was barely any steak, it was mainly mushrooms (see pictures). When I last ate at the Toronto location there was a good portion of meat. I noticed the price for this dish was 25% higher than when I went in 2021, which is fair given inflation, but if the price is up 25% why is there less food? My order was also supposed to come with hash browns but instead came with wedges which are very different. When I asked why, the waitress had to check with the kitchen again. She told me they were out of hash browns and so gave me wedges, again without being informed and without being given options. I told her the last time I got this dish there was an option to do hash browns, wedges or curly fries, and that I prefer curly fries to the wedges. She agreed to swap them, but then brought me a soggy, cold fries full of burnt residue from the fryer (see pictures). Throughout the meal wait staff randomly kept coming to us with dishes and drinks we didn't order, meant for other tables. So clearly they are disorganized. When the bill came, she charged me $5 for the side of curly fries that were supposed to be included, plus gratuity was already added but none of us were told and we double tipped. Some of this sounds minor and petty, and I don't usually get worked up over a bad meal. If it was just the soggy fries and small portion of steak I would let it go. The reason I'm taking the time to write this long review is because my friends and I love eggstatic and were really let down by this location. Also, I think the restaurant needs to know it's not okay to just swap items after someone has placed an order. Give them the substitution options ahead of time. I really hope they fix their operations and food. I would love to have a Eggstatic close to my house and I'm sure I'd be eating there regularly, but until then I'm going to stick to Toronto even though it's a pain to drive from Mississauga to the east end of Toronto.

Checked out eggatatic in mississauga with my girls for a late brunch on a Wednesday. Very nice, quiet plaza right next to a big main road so hard to miss if you frequent the area! The space itself is very clean-looking, very minimal decor and had booths and regular table options. During warmer weather, they also have an outdoor seating option which is always nice! Upon getting seated which took no time as they recognized me from my reservations (with baby carrier), we were seated in a half booth half regular table which was nice. However, we didn't get waters until they came to get our orders which also took longer than usual but I did see there were only two ladies serving at the time. The condiments on our table were also pretty empty (no ketchup or hot sauce, only salt and pepper). We all ordered their eggs benedict (clearly a favourite of mine). We got the fried chicken benny, pulled beef benny and their mushroom and spinach benny. All served soft poach and on english muffin! All bennies came with a kale salad (like the kits you buy at the groceries), home fries (very well seasoned) and fruit (we got 3 pieces of grapes). We also got each of us a different drink, we got their iced coffee, blackberry peach lemonade (which had blueberries on it for some reason) and their biscoff frappuccino. All pretty decent, nothing outstanding per se. The eggs benedict were good portions, eggs were cooked perfectly however, just like all the other reviews on it, their hollandaise sauce is not very traditional, it's almost like a cream sauce on top of your egg which tasted a bit heavy in my opinion. I heard very great things about their other items so we'll still come back to try those out! We did come around 2pm and they close at 4pm, but the staff had started pre-closing around 3 which means, they started putting up chairs on tables, wiping down tables as well as mopping the floors while people were still eating... which I found should always be when people are leaving as it left a chemical smell in the air which can make people quite sick. I appreciated that the restrooms had a baby changing table but I would appreciate some wet floor signs as I almost wiped out coming out of the bathroom with my infant. I would also appreciate if the automatic doors worked on both doors (they have double doors to get in and I believe only one had the option for automatic doors but it did not work) so not very wheelchair/stroller accessible. All in all, a decent place for brunch, maybe just don't come too close to closing time to avoid what we experienced.

The Nashville Eggs Benedict was pretty good. The Biscoff Lotus Pancakes were incredible!!! Thanks to Tia for the EXCELLENT service and recommendations on the Pancakes!!!

Update: Went back again to try more items on the menu. The Cauliflower Hummus is a MUST try!!! It will be our every time appetizer for sure! The Pistachio pancakes were UNBELIEVABLY delicious!! Tia(our sever from our last visit) came over to say hello and welcome back, as she recognized us from our first visit. She checked on us as we were finishing up to see how we liked our selections this time? She is an AMAZING server and a great example of the kind of employee that keeps people coming back, over, and over again!!! ❤️

PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to check your receipt carefully!! We were charged gratuity on ours even though there were only 6 people in our party, and Eggstatic says gratuity is only charged with parties of seven or more? We had our normal excellent service from Tia. I quickly scanned the bill to make sure the items seemed to be lined up to what we ordered, and after a few were correct from my end of the table, I paid the bill, to not keep people waiting for our table. The next week, as I was going through my receipts, I read the Eggstatic one. I quickly realized that for the first time in more than seven visits, a "gratuity" charge of 18% had been added to the bill. So by the time I added a 25% tip for Tia's outstanding service, I ended up giving a 43+% tip, as my 25% was stacked on top of the total including the 18% gratuity, plus taxes. I contacted Eggstatic to question this first-time gratuity charge? Faris Awwad (the owner) contacted me informing me of their party of seven plus policy. After seeing our party only had six people, he offered to refund the gratuity. After confirming with him that the money would come out of the restaurants pocket, and not out of the pocket of Tia and the rest of the fantastic staff, I sent Faris my info for an e-transfer (which was his suggestion for an immediate refund). Nothing came through, so I contacted him again after a couple of weeks. He emailed me back apologizing for his delayed response, as he was on vacation.
