After a couple of months of not being able to purchase Bridge Mixture I found some today (March 19, 2022). Being over 60, a Canadian and male I grew up looking forward to and watching Saturday's Hockey Night in Canada and as a special treat my Dad provided Bridge Mixtures on pay days ( twice a month!). Well I am sad to say that tradition will never be passed on to my grandchildren. Because your "new and improved" bridge mixture is absolutely atrocious. Not even close to the original and even a sad facsimile of Glossette Raisins and Peanuts. Shame on you Herschy Canada, I will NEVER buy your bridge mixtures again. You got the one star for the name and its memory, definitely not for the absolutely pathetic things you put in...

”New Bridge Mix” is only tenuously related to the product by the same name I’ve been enjoying for more than six decades. The new mix which has almost none of the original’s ingredients is barely edible. I was extremely disappointed by my latest purchase and ended up discarding it. I can’t believe the bags boast of “more peanuts” ( a bald-faced lie), and is labeled “original Bridge Mixture” (also a blatant lie). No cremes or caramels or mints, fewer peanuts and raisins…I couldn’t identify most of the fillings which were sticky and mono-flavoured. Can I give this less than one star. I have been purchasing your Bridge Mixture for 50+ years. It was a personal indulgence that I would not share with anyone for fear that they would get one of my favorities. That has now come to an end, I will never purchase this product again. How could you use the brand name of Bridge Mixture when it is not even slightly the same. All it is now, is fake fruit with a taste that is sickening and your claim of more peanuts is an outright lie. Just call it fake gel fruit with some nuts. How disappointing. It is definitely not the Original Bridge Mixture so stop...
