We hosted an event in December at Fuzion. The event itself ran smoothly and we were happy with the services provided by Madhu + team on site. Some thoughts on various factors of our experience:
Booking experience - Overall not the best, felt like we were being "nickled and dimed" for every service we wanted, but in the end Mahwash did work with us on a price to suit our budget.
Service before event - I would split this into two; we did not start off well in this category but the service did improve drastically.
My concerns echo some of the reviews that were posted before. E.g., we were told everything was cooked in house except dessert but that did not end up being true and we found out after signing the contract. We were also told that we would hear back about doing a tasting before hand but had to follow up on four separate occasions on this matter (and didn't end up getting to taste unless we paid a hefty price).
However, something did change when we went for our final setup meeting with Mahwash and her customer care and attention shifted for the positive and we felt like we were in good hands. Mahwash was flexible and proactively followed up with us on outstanding matters and I do want to thank her for this. Her high spirits and confidence also gave me confidence in the success of our event.
The only thing I would want is more transparency on critical factors such as how many wait staff would be present at the event.
Actual event - Madhu was extremely pleasant to deal with; she was flexible and worked with us promptly on anything that needed to be done. She had a "get it done" attitude which I appreciated. She is definitely a seasoned expert in her field.
The reason why I say I wish I knew the number of wait staff is because at first, it was only Madhu serving appetizers and we got off to an extremely slow start. She bumped it up with kitchen staff and after 15mins it became much better. I would have like to have known how many staff would be present up front because the last thing I want is my guests going hungry.
Food overall was good. A/V (mic, projector, speakers) all worked fine for us. Staff helped us clean up and take stuff out to our car which is much appreciated.
Thanks Mahwash,...

My experience with Fuzion Banquet Hall was mostly positive, thanks, particularly to Fumi, who was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process. Fumi's excellent communication skills didn’t go unnoticed. I had a lot of demands and he handled them well.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of hiccups that slightly dampened the overall experience. Firstly, the air conditioning broke down on the night of the reception, which was quite unfortunate given the warm weather. This did cause some discomfort for our guests, but he apologized for it on the spot AND I saw how disappointed her was. Additionally, we were disappointed to learn that some of the hired waitstaff took it upon themselves to hide food without our consent, and their service (agency) left much to be desired. This was a letdown as we had expected a higher standard of professionalism from the agency Fumi hired. No one let us know we had multiple trays of food left over. Again, it wasn’t his fault. I brought this to Fumi attention after it was over and he took it upon himself to sort it out. He listened to my concerns and worked his best to sort it out with the agency. It was the staff from the Hired agency fault, but he reimburses me some money. He was super upset to learn what they have done.
Despite these setbacks, I must commend Fuzion Banquet Hall (Fumi) for his dedication to making our day as special as possible. The venue itself was beautiful and being decorated to my liking from my hired decor company made it looked even better. The management's quick response to the AC issue also showed their commitment to customer satisfaction. In conclusion, while there were a few bumps along the way, Fuzion Banquet Hall ultimately delivered a memorable wedding experience. With a bit of fine-tuning in terms of staff professionalism and event execution, this venue could easily be a five-star choice on a budget. The family really had a great time. I would recommend it to others but advise them to keep a close eye on the finer details to ensure a seamless celebration. Thanks, Fumi, for working with me. I would work with...
Read moreI had my wedding at Fuzion Banquet hall this year. The space is beautiful and the dinner staff are some of the most amazing people I've ever met. However, my concern is with the management. We dealt with a woman named Mahwash, she was the person who handled the planning and such. At first she was an absolute pleasure, even cut me a deal knowing that we are a young couple trying to do the wedding on a budget. There were a few things though that she would say to me and when I would ask her those questions again she would change her answer. I let that stuff go though because at the time I thought it was a minor concern. On the wedding day when my family went to set up the space she made a fuss about the number of chairs even though me and her had planned all these things together. She was even rude to my sister. My sister then called me right infront of her and worked out whatever issue she was having. Then when when the DJ came to set up they gave him a table that was broken so he moved over to the table beside it. She had an absolute mental breakdown infront of my family and bridal party and said that she will shut the entire thing down if he doesn't move his equipment. He explained to her that the table was broken and that's why he couldn't set up there. She was screaming so loud that my husband had to step in to resolve it. Thankfully the DJ paid it no mind and the event was amazing. I paid a deposit of $600 of which I was suppose to receive $500 back. After many weeks of requesting if she could somehow send me the money because I do not own a car to get up to their office in Mississauga, she finally sent me an etransfer 3 weeks in and deducted $25.00 from it saying that your family added an extra chair and told me to take it from your deposit. There was no such discussion. Whatever, I dropped it. Moral of my long story is, if you are going to deal with this woman, make sure you have absolutely every conversation in writing (even then she might try to prove you wrong), or to stay safe ask if someone else can assist you there. Also, if you do host an event at the space please do not forget to tip the wait staff. They are the most charming...
