The owners do not care about your time and will swap in a different model without telling you. We ordered a bed frame from them. They originally said it would be ready in two days, but it took two weeks for them to say it was ready. We called ahead of time to confirm it was onsite, and they said yes. When we arrived, the owner tried to swap a different, cheaper model without letting us know. He wouldn't let us open the box in-store to verify, but he eventually confessed that it was not the same model when we pressed him. Do not buy anything from this store, but if you do, check what you purchase first.
Edit to Reply to Owner: The dishonestly comes in you trying to sneak in a different model, without telling the buyer. Furniture is chosen for aesthetic and style reasons. You cannot just swap a different model without telling your customer. It was also cheaper. You also cannot just refund and cancel the contract. It is a contract. We are obligated to buy, (as you love mention to the customer below us, who still haven't received their furniture within 3 months) and you are obligated to procure the item. Contacts work both ways, which you would understand if you actually respected your customers.
I should remind you that it is also illegal to misrepresent your products, either in the type or style, or in the delivery times, like you are doing, which goes against the Consumer Protection Act. Logistics have nothing to do with this. You've been getting 1 star reviews complaining about your lies on delivery time to hold your customers deposits more than 3 years ago, before there were logistic problems. To quote another customer, who complained over 3 years ago:
"Worst company ever, bad attitude with customers and worst experience. Stuff keep saying untruth about actual time of delivery. Paid two month ago and still didn't get what we want. Didn't answer my phone calls and can't get my money back. What else can I say. Don't deal with them!!!!"
Everyone can see that you continue to lie to your customers and have the nerve to blame logistical problems when the real problem is due to your unethical, immoral ways of doing business. Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience. I had already decided on a couch at another place near by for less money. My wife wanted to have one more look so we came here. Became a regretful decision. Saw a couch in the showroom that we liked but requested it in another color. We were told no problem. We even bought a rug. Placed the order on a Sunday and were told we would have the couches by Thursday. Recieved a call saying the couches would be in on Saturday instead because the colors didn't match. We gracefully accepted the delay. Delivery guys show up and very aggressively force the couch through the door. (No Mask) and then before bringing in the second couch ask me for a water. No problem! I open the couch and the sofa and loveseat don't match. I call immediately and explain the situation. Was repeatedly told I was mistaken. They asked me to send a photo so I did where you can clearly see the couches don't match. I'm told "100% it is the same". I plead with the gentleman that I am not wrong. He ask me to bring a couchin from the one I like but to meet him outside.. hmmm I wonder why. Well I show up and he runs outside to meet me. I said "No" let's go inside! As I enter the showroom I instantly notice that the display model is gone which I suspected. Why? Because that's what they tried to sell me hoping I didn't notice And attempted to match it with one in a warehouse I assume. After a bit of back and forth one of the employee agrees to come to my house and look. So I agreed. The gentleman comes in sees the couches and immediately says " you're right it's the wrong couches". they took one couchin for about a week to match the right color and returned stating that we could use the wrong one until we get ours. (It's still wrapped in my living room) That was over 2 months ago! We'll after numerous calls and excuses, (one being Covid-19)We still don't have the right couch set after almost 3 months of patiently waiting! Read moreI do not understand why this company has so many bad reviews. For all the people that do not know how furniture stores work. And I mean all furniture stores. Let me explain.
Custom orders - means exactly this - custom. You chose it. You wanted it. You needed it. It was made to your specifications. Once the order is processed and the manufacturer gets the order and processes it from there side, YOU CAN NOT CANCEL !!!
2ND If it is a Clearance item - its the same as a floor model, a discontinue, a scratch and dent, etc etc. Its as-is, final sale, no returns, no exchanges. Its been mark down to either companies cost, or close to cost to get it out of the store/warehouse and make room for new products.
3rd. If you have a basement, measure. measure the height, the width, of every wall, every thing you possibly can think of. Just because something that looks the size of what you currently have had fit, does not mean what you are looking at today will fit. Why ? maybe the length or depth is not the same, maybe the legs do not come off, or maybe you just do not know how to measure properly.
I have been in the furniture business before, and its a common issue with people that do not have common sense when buying furniture.
Now............. On to me...
I have purchased from this company, and delivery was on time. Its a good place if you want to save some money on the product, on the delivery compared to other stores, and quite frankly even though its not as dressed up and impressive as the big chain stores, this is a place to shop if you know what you want, know it will fit, know its in your price range and will do the trick for you.
