I love old towns like Almonte! The quint town vibe to it is so lovely. Bonus that it has trails by the river. So many nice stores and boutiques, different types of restaurants and a super yummi ice cream shack "Almonte ice cream shop". The best I ever had!!! Their flower baskets were gorgeous this summer!! I really enjoyed my visit their. Worth to check the town hall and if you love Italian food "Joe's restaurant" was fantastic with a patio by the river! Highly recommend a visit!!

A suitable option for a beginner-level trail. Around the farm fields, through the forest with picturesque views of the Mississippi River. Several designated spots along the trail invite you to pause and savor the town's natural beauty. Locating the trailhead proved to be slightly challenging. Fortunately, we encountered an experienced cyclist who kindly provided us with directions.

Easy to miss this picturesque trail. It starts through private property on a field then heads towards the river. Not a flat trail, you need to be able to handle uneven terrain. Beautiful fields then forest and river views. Very enjoyable.

This is one of my favorite trails around home. A few technical mountain biking trails and a lot of fun, fast great cardio trails. Great for a walk with your family and pets, beautiful wooded areas right beside the river. Who could...
