Pat, my lovely wife and I, live not far from this fabulous casino. We first visited this establishment just after the height of COVID back in 2021. Restrictions were still in place. Gambling tables were not open. Buffet was still closed down and attendance was low. Shows were still not taking place. Some time later, Pat and I have been delighted to have attended one of the first showings, since COVID restrictions, in their large stage area (Buddy Holly tribute). Seats were not packed since many people were still playing it safe and staying home. The shows venue and performance was fantastic. We've both enjoyed a few meals in the casino's small restaurant within the casino's main floor area next to the many gambling machines. We have also been to their large buffet area for at least one of each of the afternoons they are open. Each night open there is a different special and selection (repeats every week). We strongly recommend obtaining their membership card, if of age, for meal savings at every visit (cost nothing). Be careful, it's very easy to gain weight at their buffet. So many items to choose from and we've yet to find something we didn't like. Meals are delicious and I always have trouble leaving room for dessert, but I do manage. Even with their desserts, the choices are many. We've learnt that if one needs a dessert without sugar, just ask one of the attendants and they will happily bring an item out from behind their separation wall. This is but another place Pat and I enjoy being able to treat ourselves to once in a while, here in Moncton, NB. Neither of us are big gamblers but we do enjoy meandering through the Gambling area on our way out (buffet is at the far end of the casino floor). Pat and I have brought loved ones to this place more than once and will continue doing so in future, God willing. Since we live so close to this casino, renting a room has never been a consideration but, from what we've seen, we're sure they're well kept. Both of us have enjoyed walking their main hotel corridor which displays past celebrities that have performed and stayed at this fine casino/hotel. We have also driven along their back parking lot to check out the many different campers using their lot for temporary parking. Very nice layout and compassionate of the owners to allow campers with limited parking. My only complaint, during the many times we've eaten at the casinos buffet, has been with their corn in the cob. We love 🌽 but each time, it has been inedible to us. Far too mushy, like they've been soaking in water for hours. Not a huge drawback since there's so much to chose from at their buffet but disappointing. New thus year (2025) is their Wednesday Chinese buffet. Excellent choices to choose from. Both Pat and I found this buffet a delightful addition to their varied buffets on other days.

Kind of disappointed. Overall, the hotel was good. Nice and clean. Modern. Friendly staff. What keeps it from being 5 stars was the beds. Let’s be honest, a hotels main function is to provide a place for people to sleep. The mattress was very firm, but I can live with that. The pillows were the worst! There were 6, almost square, thick pillows. They reminded of when you sleep on someone’s couch and all they have are uncomfortable couch cushions that won’t compress when you rest your head on it. My wife and I, literally, tossed and turned all night because of the pillows. This was fairly upsetting because we paid $250 to have a horrible sleep. It was our first night away from our kids. Anyone who has toddlers can appreciate how excited we were to stay up late, have an uninterrupted sleep, and sleep in. That was what we were looking forward to the most since booking a few months ago. All we got was to stay up late and pay for it the next morning. I recently stayed at a cheap Comfort Inn in a small town and, overall, my stay was far more comfortable. I had the best sleep I’d had in months there. Unless I have to, I don’t think I’d return to this hotel. Like I said, no issues with anything else but the bed/pillows... but a hotel is designed for sleeping and the casino, surprisingly, failed to deliver on that aspect. Upon checkout I was looking forward to voicing my opinion when asked ā€œHow was your stay?ā€ Unfortunately, when I handed my keys to the employee at the front desk she briefly looked up from what she was doing and mumbled ā€œthanksā€. I should also quickly touch on the buffet. It was $15 (not sure if it’s more for non guests). The food selection was better than most buffets I’ve been too; however, the taste was good at best. I honestly expected to leave there saying ā€œthat was delicious!ā€ I actually texted my cousin, who is a chef, and had to tell him it was surprisingly disappointing. One quick example.. the mussels had garlic ā€œbutterā€ on the side and I’m almost certain it was vegetable oil instead of melted butter. Absolutely disgusting. Overall... not what one would expect from a stay at a Casino. I know this isn’t Vegas, but a little more effort would be appreciated.

I stayed as a hotel guest. I don't gamble so I can't comment on whether the casino is a good one or not. It's not huge like in Vegas. Hotel room was large and in good shape. Beds were comfy and sheets good quality. Pillows were too large for me but I like very flat pillows. There is a small fitness room with two treadmills, bike and elliptical plus some free weights. Downstairs is a nice pool and jetted spa. The area feels inviting with lots of natural light. Lots of towels. Secure entry only via room key. Washrooms and showers in the pool area and lockers (bring your own lock). I did go to the buffet a few times and it's certainly not anywhere near a Vegas level buffet but is decent. The breakfast and brunch ones have a great selection and on Sunday there was a custom omelette station where you could also order fried eggs. Dinners are hit and miss depending on food likes. I don't eat fish or seafood and there are usually a few options of those. Lots of desserts that to me look like all premade/prepackaged pies and cakes but they are mostly good. There are usually gluten free brownies that taste good. Usually some sugar free options too. There is also a spa where you can get massages, nails and other treatments. I've had a relaxation massage once there and it was fine. If you are not a hotel guest but are a spa guest, it includes access to the pool area. A nice bonus on a spa day. Staff at all parts of the complex I've found to be nice. I've stayed here a few times and have never had any issues. On one visit I was upgraded to their Royal Suite which is bigger than where I live. If the room isn't already booked, their system randomly selects a guest to upgrade.

The Hotel itself is nice. The rooms are well equipped & clean. However the air/heating units are loud & the walls are thin so it can be difficult to sleep if your staying on a particularly busy night or if your room is in close proximity to the elevator.

-Pool area & spa are well maintained. The pool is kept quite cool (colder than my husband & I like). -Spa is ok for basic services such as a mani/pedi or relaxation massage & prices are on the high end of fair. -Beds are comfortable -T.V's are standard with local programming. Not Smart T.V. equipped (which is surprising for what is suspose to be a 4ā˜† Casino hotel. -Room service food is far superior to what you recieve in the casino's Buffet restaurant. Its slow to arrive & pricey. But much better than the buffet. -Front Desk staff are friendly & knowledgeable. However there's no concierge available to help with bags or parking (if this service is available. We have never seen or been offered it). -If you have any issue with your stay & request assistance to workout the issue. Front desk staff is able to provide little to zero value in sorting thru any problems with reservation mistakes/casino booking offers etc.

Its very difficult to resolve problematic issues. As the hotel & Casino claim to be separate entities.

-The Casino itself is sub-par at best. The servers rarely come around to take drink orders.

-Food & drink are very expensive for a casino. "Most casinos offer free drinks to those who are actively gambling". Casino N.B charges more than the average pub/restaurant for alcoholic beverages.

-Food in the Casino pub offers up a limited selection of standard pub fare. However it is pricey considering its operating in a casino & the money one spends when staying in a casino.

-The Buffet is "HANDS DOWN THE WORST FOOD YOU WILL EVER FIND IN A CASINO BUFFET"..... This has been an ongoing issue since the opening of the casino! ā— Due to my partner and my work. Our work often takes us to Moncton. We like the location of Casino N.B Hotel & enjoy the casino during our stays. Because we frequently stay at the hotel & visit the casino; we recieve monthly offers from both the hotel & the casino. These offers include discounted accommodations/free buffets & sometimes free play $$$. I kid you not when I say "We spend the TIME & MONEY TO LEAVE TO DRIVE INTO THE CITY to eat elsewhere, rather than take advantage of the convenience of not having to leave the comfort of the hotel/casino to eat the free buffet offer"....That's how BAD THE FOOD IS @ The BUFFET!!!

The past 3 times we've stayed at Casino N.B Hotel a offer of all you can eat lobster tails and filet mignon was on. The first of the 3 times we arrived at lunch (the offer ran from 11:30am-9pm.) By 1pm the casino was packed. People from as far away as Maine & Halifax had come for this buffet. (We had met seniors who had arranged mini vacations. Paying top dollar for accommodations at the Casino Hotel during prime tourist season inorder to enjoy this ALL YOU CAN EAT surf & turf event). At 1:30pm we were talking to a couple who had been given a buzzer that would let them know when a table would be ready. They were told the wait was aprox 2.5hrs.The couple were very good natured about the wait & decide to gamble while waiting for a table to become available. We ran i to the same couple @ 6pm (they had just finished their meal) & were very upset (& rightfully so). It took them till 4pm to be seated & 45mins in a lineup to be told they could have either 2 lobster tails or 1 tail & 1 filet. If they want it more they would have to return the 45-minute lineup. We talked to other couples who had waited over 6 hours and spent "god knows how much $" while waiting for a table. Only to be told that "The Buffet was refunding anyone who hadn't yet been served" as they ran out of food. It was like that during each of our last 3 stays. Thos past Thursday we ourselves decided to try the surf & turf. When I made it where the lobster is served. I was told "Sorry we are out of lobster". No offer of refund.Very Poor...

Great place for a concert. It's big enough to house enough people to make it feel like a bigger, Arena, when it's not an arena. But yet Intimate enough to see from the front row if you want. There's certain parts that don't have like a pit, if you're going to like a metal show or a punk show and and then other concerts seating and standing, it's all nice and calm, it's good. The only one complaint I have is I find it a pain the same price for a beer as a pop. It's kind of ridiculous and the merchandise line. They've got 2 people working it, and I waited 2hrs to buy a shirt and a hoodie. And by the time I got up there, there was no hoodies left and the shirt that I got, I got the one I wanted, but it was $50. And I mean, it's well worth it, it was their final tour. The last time I went to this place, I went to concerts here.I paid $40 a hoodie. I used to go to the old ColiseumColiseum for concerts. I've seen slayer there. I saw damage plan with slayer. I seen quite a few bins, Billy Talent at the new casino. I've seen Our Lady Peace. I've seen. I don't know, probably 5 or 6 other bands, but it's a good spot. Now, they gotta figure out something about the merchandise line and the prices of drinks. Water beer and pop should be separate. I don't drink, so why should I pay the same price that someone that's getting a beer and if it's not the same price if it's like $,5 for a beer and $4 for a pop, I know it's been $4 for a pop, that's ridiculous. Cuz, it's just like a glass and it's Just a can like that's a bit much and then you get a big beer, and it's $5 or 4, I'm pretty sure it's 4, and it's like double the size and fills the giant glass that you get those big Dixie cups. That's kind of a piss off, and a water is $4. It's like really water should be free. There should be a place where you can get water for free. Or you can choose to pay the $4 for the water. It's up to you, but there should be some kind of spot where you can get water. But I feel they could make it a bit better for things. But anyway, I always have a good time. When I go, it's fun. The last time I went, I got hurt pretty bad these guys. There was 4 of them, and I swear I'm not trying to be mean or prejudiced towards him, but between them, I'm not joking, they must have weighed a metric ton and my buddy seen me get pulled into the pit. And I broke my neck, my back so like parts of my neck parts of my bag. Vertebrae like Ribs, collarbone a few other things, and they could really do something about the seating, like. I paid for a floor ticket and most people go from the seating to the 4. There should be someone watching that. But you know what? It benefited me because I got pulled into the pit and I got hurt. And my friend seen me and he came over and he was like, do you want to go outside and I was like, yeah, I wouldn't mind getting a pop and going outside for a vape, he's like, okay, let's go and he's like, Hey, can we get by and they're like, yep, no problem. And it was stable step, stable step, and then this plastic thing, where, if you were walking down straight, you wouldn't notice anything but I turned to the right to get by them because they all backed up whenever he went through. And then whenever I went through, they all just backed up and then I ran into them because they did and I had to pivot, and when I did the little plastic thing that you use to get up on the stand I fell, it was knees, cut to hell cracked my rib again and I swear my nose and face. Are not gonna feel the same for a long time? It wasn't that pleasant. I know it sounds like I'm complaining and in a way I am, but I always have a good time. And this was the first time when I went when I had been injured. It's been a while since I've been there but I don't know like that was not. The Casinos fault. I mean, yeah, they could have used a better step coming off the bleachers. Posted to see who goes where, but, you know it's not their real fall and yeah, I don't know, I don't want to say something bad about them like they bring Uber good shows. It's well...
